plenzmd1 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) just finished watching , documentary on the Swansea Football Club in the UK. Very much like a 30 for 30 piece. Excellent film. Details the journey of this club from a small working class city from the lowest levels of soccer to the Premier League . In 2001, they were sold for £1. Theybwere a game away from being relegated to amateur status. Then the fans get involved. The story is very compelling and I think will hit home for Buffalo fans. The attachment to the team by the citizens, the sense it was their team etc.....just a very compelling story I recorded it off a series on NBC Sports called Premier League Download. Not sure if you can find on Netflix or the like. BTW, I do not follow the Premier League at all , and only know the names of a few teams. Still loved this movie. https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/jack-to-king-swansea.../id942675021 Watch that trailer, I am sure you will watch the movie if you do. Loved the line" had a bowl of Whetabix..not with milk, with vodka I was so nervous during that game" Edited September 16, 2015 by plenzmd1
