Kelly the Dog Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I just thought how good Schmidt especially was today deserved its own thread so he gets some props. He has been killing the ball all summer and continued it today. FC at the 6 and 9 were big. Gay also was strong. But Schmidt has been just terrific. Offense, defense and special teams all played well. The sign of a good team.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Schmidt needs a game ball. Just outstanding. I was going to start a thread about unsung heroes. I thought Schmidt, gay, and Mario butler were the unsung heroes.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 How often do you see a guy run out of the endzone on a KO and get tackled at the four yard line?
Doc Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I would have preferred Gay kick it out of the endzone more. A couple were returned and went past the 20 yard line.
Big C Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I would have preferred Gay kick it out of the endzone more. A couple were returned and went past the 20 yard line. Coverage units were close on those returns. I like that we boom it high and try to get them to return it. We will work on it some more this week, I'm sure. Schmidt was a boss today.
K-9 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Gay Schmidt! LOL! Field position was critical today, especially early on. GO BILLS!!!
The Adam Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 How often do you see a guy run out of the endzone on a KO and get tackled at the four yard line? Hangtime + rain = Take a knee

Talley56 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) How often do you see a guy run out of the endzone on a KO and get tackled at the four yard line? Shades of Mckelvin's fumble Edited September 14, 2015 by Talley56

Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Shades of Mckelvin's fumble Must you remind us?
jwolf02 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I would have preferred Gay kick it out of the endzone more. A couple were returned and went past the 20 yard line. Fwiw those kicks were into a pretty fair wind. Every kick with the wind was through the end zone.
BillsFan130 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I think bills found gold with Schmidt, this guy looks like the real deal
Mark Vader Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I agree. Great Special Teams play today. Schmidt was fantastic.
The Dean Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 We noticed the same thing, today. Special teams guys were very special, today.
