TheFunPolice Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 No excuse for the Giants not running on 3rd and goal on the 1 yard line. Yup... Dumb clock management
KD in CA Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Who says Tony Romo is not a great QB? Brilliant drive. Two of them in the last few minutes. And after his receivers created turnovers all night. Sure glad I drafted him in fantasy!

Greg F Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Don't have a problem with a pass play ... Manning should have taken the sac when nobody was open.
truth on hold Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Don't have a problem with a pass play ... Given he didn't do that I wonder if is to blame too for audibling out of run. That guy is slipping

Given he didn't do that I wonder if is to blame too for audibling out of run. That guy is slipping I agree they should have run the ball. And, in retrospect, taking the sack would have been the advisable choice. But that's a bit too "hindsight" for my tastes. Without a TO to discuss it, a QB is wired to NOT take sacks. He has a s#itload of stuff going on. I think blaming Manning for not taking a sack in that situation is a bit unfair. Even Coughlin, in the post game presser, seemed surprised by that question. I'm not sure even he considered it---and he was on the sidelines.
