Coach Tuesday Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Wow what an intelligent comeback. Don't address one single point, for lack of IQ. Just look up the word "pathetic " in a dictionary and throw it your "post. For lack of an actual intelligent response. GOIN DOWN SWINGIN
Andrew Son Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 GOIN DOWN SWINGIN Ha, with the same punch
Malazan Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Wow could you make my point for me any better than this post? So this genius here list 6 solutions, all of which have the same theme, it's up to the fans to solve the problem. That is the solution. Use one of the other options provided to you. I am pretty sure the Bills are the ones who made other gates that move much faster. Do you want them to have someone who goes through the line and literally tells the dimwits to go to another gate? Would a sign suffice? How about someone on a loud speaker? Should they put the safety helmet on you at your house and personally take you to your seat? They can only lead you to the water, they can't make you drink.
sodbuster Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) I just find the op attitude interesting. This was talked about extensively on here last year. It was brought to the attention of the fan advisory board, so the Bills tried something new with the big walkthrough detectors. Did you want them to change their entire security protocol on the fly yesterday? Now you know that those two gates are a bit more slow than the other gates. Next time, remember that, and spend 2-4 more minutes walking to another gate, rather than 40 minutes standing at a slow gate. Edited September 15, 2015 by sodbuster

Because....taxes and prune juice or something.

DirtDart Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Took me less than 5 minutes to get in. Go to another gate or queue up earlier. They've installed walk through detectors at one of the gates with plans to add more, so they're working on it.I went in @ noon through gate 6, which was a mess. Only took us a few minutes.

Just look up the word "pathetic " in a dictionary and throw it your "post. For lack of an actual intelligent response. Dude, when people address your point, like "go to a different gate" or "get there earlier"you dismiss it. Therefore, MarkAF43 is correct, you are pathetic. Question for you, smart guy; How do you propose the Bills handle it? How do you handle 50% of the fans being too lazy to walk to another gate? How do you handle the one dude that finds this to B word about? I guarantee they will handle you better than we did.

So according to your post this was talked about extensively last year so at the very least you concede it was a problem. The Bills "tried something new" with the walk thru detectors? Wow the stupidity. EVERY NFL team is REQUIRED to experiment with walk thru detectors this year, and have those detectors in place in EVERY gate next year. They "tried something new" because they were REQUIRED to. There is no assurance that any gate is faster than another from week to week. A "bit more" slow - really - 40 minutes. How about you asking for a touch of accountability in terms of the Bills corporation figuring out how to get fans through their gates in a safe and timely manner (less than 40 minutes)

Realistically they know there's no way to get 80,000 fans through 7 gates with the NFL's required security screening protocol if everyone shows up at 1230 on the dot, yet people keep doing EXACTLY THAT. The Dean Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) So according to your post this was talked about extensively last year so at the very least you concede it was a problem. How about you asking for a touch of accountability in terms of the Bills corporation figuring out how to get fans through their gates in a safe and timely manner (less than 40 minutes) But as you can see (if the responses here are any indication), the vast majority of the fans had no problem. You and some others did. Do you honestly believe there is a system that can guarantee NO fan will be inconvenienced or wait for longer than they wish to? There are 70,000+ fans trying to get into the game. Too many of them wait until the last minute (and yes, if you get to the gate after about 12-12:15, that is the "last minute" in NFL pre-game time). It is what it is. I'm not saying there can't be some tweaks or improvements. Guys like Jay R are around to give reports and suggestions (and not simply whine) to help the Bills do better. But to think NO fan will EVER have to wait longer than they believe is reasonable is preposterous on its face. But I realize you'd prefer to complain rather than adjust. I'm not sure you'd ever be able to handle what fans of a certain age dealt with (without the pathetic whining) at the Rockpile. We had to park in the driveways, and on the lawns, of neighboring residents. We had to walk, sometimes a mile or more, in the freezing cold, without shoes, up hills (both ways!), to get to the games. For Christ's sake, grow a pair! Reminds me of commuters in southern California, who take the same s#itty way to work. Leave at the same time. stay in the same lane, no matter how slos it is moving, and complain about how long it takes to get to work. ADAPT! I'm out, on this thread. jwhit34 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I got there at 12:25 and had 2 people ahead of me in line so it took about 45 seconds to get in. And this was at the gate right next to the Bills store. I've been going to games since 1970 and had season tickets since 1986, entering the stadium post 9/11 has never been easier. And, by the way, exiting is way better, the way they re-engineered the ramps into the bowl works. Find something real to complain about.
RuffMuff Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 You can't fix stupid. When you see a gate JAMMED and continue to try to go in that gate, what kind of instructions do you need to pick another gate? Maybe Brandon should come down to the parking lot and personally escort your stupid ass in. F-ing Hilarious!
Chef Jim Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 By the way, I know many of us have visited many other NFL stadiums over the years. I confidentially say there are many with much worse waits, more stringent searches and less polite staff. Most of those stadiums have less fans in attendance, too. This is true. I live in Oakland and go to one game a year and it takes forever to get in. Not that I'm In a hurry to get in. It is the Raiders after all.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 PS - sending an email about it to guest services was the first thing I did when I got in my computer this morning.
TDRupp Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) Well he is the CEO who comes on the radio and blows smoke about how concerned he is with the "fan experience". He wasn't waiting in line for 30+ minutes today, and it's not asking too much for your radio folks, who criticize the Bills over everything, to at least ASK him about it. Vegas55, Walk around toward the fieldhouse or the gates by the store. We went through there (by the store) in about 5 minutes at 12:25. Painless. If people keep going to the east side (away team) gates to wait in long lines, it just makes it easier for the rest of us to get it. Edited September 15, 2015 by TDRupp
