DC Tom Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Horrible and tragic and nobody gets to criticize the Pegulas if they decide to build a new stadium somewhere without tailgating as we know it. That's actually not tailgating as we know it.
The Dean Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Wow. Horrible stuff. I might understand AFTER the game, but before? sorry---sorry
transient Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 So sad. I've been very open in the past about dealing with my own depression and anxiety. To anyone struggling please know this. Its gets better. Dont give up and know that you matter to someone. Cap, thanks for the personal insight. Fight on. FYI, Bills fandom doesn't help. Well wishers, while public message board expression of support is admirable, look around you in the real world for those in need before they get to this point. This is preventable, more often than not. Lend an ear, and truly listen. Those few expendable minutes can be invaluable. To those lonely souls out there, as Captain Hindsight suggests, you are not alone. Please reach out.
Playoffs? Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 It's tough being a Bills fan... Sorry.. Had to go there. Very sad.
boyst Posted September 13, 2015 Author Posted September 13, 2015 One board member witnessed the entire thing within 12'. Others nearby. I've got a feeling was playing. Pop went off. Suicide.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 It happened near Hammer's lot but in the RV lot. Nick in England said he was 20 feet away when it happened. The Black Eyed Peas song "I Got a Feeling" had just come on. He heard the pop then saw the guy fall with blood coming out of his eyes. By the time Boyst and I got there it had been cleaned up. Only 1 cop car and a couple of news trucks were still around. The RV lot was very quiet. Actually that was true of Danny's and Big Tree also - eerily quiet night.
HalftimeAdjustment Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 One board member witnessed the entire thing within 12'. Others nearby. I've got a feeling was playing. Pop went off. Suicide. It's a very odd scenario, a semi-public suicide at a festive event. Very sad to be sure, but also unusual given that most suicides take place alone.
HamSandwhich Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Wow, that's crazy. Thoughts go out to his family and friends. Unbelievable.
DC Grid Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Wow....that sucks. Sincerely hope the guy finds the peace he was looking for in the next world after failing to find it in this one.
Numark3 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Can this **** stop happening at the ralph? RIP and unfortunate for the family.
Bad Things Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Can this **** stop happening at the ralph? RIP and unfortunate for the family. Has this happened there before?
Shamrock Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Wow, hope all else are ok, if that's possible. Hope Erik, fam, buddy and friends ok.
Not at the table Karlos Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I contemplate suicide anytime "I got a feeling" comes on. sucks. Prayers heading out to the family...
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Man shot himself in the RV lot. Guys, let's be smart. Be responsible. Have fun accident? Suicide? is he dead? So sad. I've been very open in the past about dealing with my own depression and anxiety. To anyone struggling please know this. Its gets better. Dont give up and know that you matter to someone. been there
BuffaloBill Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This is just awful. Prayers up. Ditto. Just a sad situation.
Hammered a Lot Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) Sad. Tailgating the night before an opening game would be a celebratory event. Happened at Hammer's lot? It happened in Ralph Wilson Stadium RV lot. Two of my parkers saw the whole thing. Very upsetting. Just a terrible thing to do. Edited September 13, 2015 by Hammered a Lot
