Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Not sure if this has been posted yet... http://www.realtytoday.com/articles/34171/20150910/nfl-offers-bruno-mars-super-bowl-50-halftime-show-2016.htm CBF
NoSaint Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 its been said hes been offered to curate it, specifically. id bet that they intend to do a look back through the years with it being the 50th, and have a lot of past performers. hes a good option for tying past to present if thats the case.
K D Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 hopefully that means there won't be any wardrobe malfunctions

THAT ^ whatever curate means - Produce? Edited September 11, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
NoSaint Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 THAT ^ whatever curate means - Produce? essentially. im picturing marching band entry/intro, and him walking through some classic performances both reenacting, or with the performers joining. just my guess.
Heels20X6 Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Honestly, him and Prince have been the only two good halftime shows in nearly 10 years.
GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Honestly, him and Prince have been the only two good halftime shows in nearly 10 years. Prince nailed it. And I am not even a Prince fan.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 I wish they got someone like U2, Green Day, or ACDC CBF
GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I wish they got someone like U2, Green Day, or ACDC CBF Me too.
NoSaint Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I wish they got someone like U2, Green Day, or ACDC CBF wouldnt be shocked if U2 was part of it, as a major past performer
Gugny Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 wouldnt be shocked if U2 was part of it, as a major past performer If it's U2, would they make it so no one could change the channel?
Peter Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) For me, U2 in the Super Bowl after 9/11, was the best and most moving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zqtkik7nTik I just watched this again and have to admit that I still get tears in my eyes watching this -- especially on a day like today. dave mcbride Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 If it doesn't include Up With People, it's not a Super Bowl Halftime show.
hondo in seattle Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Led Zeppelin with Jason Bonham on drums
PolishDave Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) Springsteen was by far the best in recent memory. And yes that U2 one was pretty bad ass too. Edited September 11, 2015 by PolishDave
PromoTheRobot Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Honestly, him and Prince have been the only two good halftime shows in nearly 10 years.Amen. Prince was particularly impressive.
GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Springsteen was by far the best in recent memory. And yes that U2 one was pretty bad ass too. I am a huge Springsteen fan so I loved that... but Prince doing Purple Rain in Dolphin Stadium in the middle of a torrential downpour was stunning. It was the kind of performance that even just watching on TV you think "wow that was special".
