boyst Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=Orchard+Park%2C+NY 40% chance per Wunderground, it'll go up, too. Upper 60's as a high Sunday. Been saying it since last week, the fronts moving thru and weather simulations have been showing rain this weekend. This will help us against Luck and his fancy passing game.
BuffaloBaumer Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 No fckn rain. Home opener tailgate is way more important that advantage on the field. After the home opener, have at it.....but I still say no rain. Snow? bring it on!
nucci Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Rain showers won't hurt Luck passing the ball. Unless it's accompanied by the usual 20 mph winds.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Right, it's wind not rain that turns things problematic. Rain just means you're losing AND wet.
YoloinOhio Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I expect to see one of you smart people dig up Luck's stats in rain....
ricojes Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Sunny and 74 according to WIVB... http://wivb.com/weather/7-day-forecast/
Jamie Nails Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 They forgot the most important part of Sunday's forecast: Cloudy with a chance of pain.
nucci Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Sunny and 74 according to WIVB... http://wivb.com/weather/7-day-forecast/ http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Buffalo+NY+USNY0181:1:US
BringBackFergy Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Rain is good for run game, bad for passing game. Gore played quite a bit in rain (but on natural turf through the years). Our D line stuffs Gore. Their D line against Ritchie and Miller....advantage Bills.
Webster Guy Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 there is no accurate forecast on tuesday for the upcoming sunday in western NY. ever. this isn't san diego. friday evening you'll get a reasonable one from the local weather peeps. just focus on sending Antonio Brown and Big Ben lots of positive vibes for Thursday and stop worrying about if a sprinkle blows through Orchard Park on Sunday. Go Pitt !!!!!!
Clippers of Nfl Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 They forgot the most important part of Sunday's forecast: Cloudy with a chance of pain. I have never noticed this on my weather app. Never. there is no accurate forecast on tuesday for the upcoming sunday in western NY. ever. this isn't san diego. friday evening you'll get a reasonable one from the local weather peeps. just focus on sending Antonio Brown and Big Ben lots of positive vibes for Thursday and stop worrying about if a sprinkle blows through Orchard Park on Sunday. Go Pitt !!!!!! Actually this is about the only game I want the pats********************** to win. They rarely lose back to back. Im not rooting for pats************************ However, I would want them to win 3-0. That would be fine by me. Just this one time.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 And getting worse every time I look. Current forecast shows thunderstorms all weekend with 90% chance of precipitation. Ew
sodbuster Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Excellent! We're playing a team that boasts a top 5 QB and a weak defense. I'll gladly pack my tailgating canopy if it means tipping the odds in our favor.
8-8 Forever? Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 And getting worse every time I look. Current forecast shows thunderstorms all weekend with 90% chance of precipitation. Ew ground and pound baby
eball Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 If it's too tough for them, it's just right for us.
ALLEN1QB Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I better go out and buy a raincoat going to be a wet one out there
1billsfan Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Excellent! We're playing a team that boasts a top 5 QB and a weak defense. I'll gladly pack my tailgating canopy if it means tipping the odds in our favor. Unfortunately I think that heavy rain might tamp down on crowd noise. In that aspect, I really hope it's a nice day for a LOT of noise at RWS just like the good old days. Also, I want to see what our highly skilled offensive players can do in good conditions. it would be nice to see the Bills put up 40+ on the Colts. How great would the enthusiasm for this season be if that happens? I'd rather not be in a constant state of worry that the other team putting up too many points and constantly hope for bad weather, I want to have the confidence that the Bills offense is just as dangerous given great conditions.
ALLEN1QB Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 this may be a dumb question but are you allowed to bring an umbrella to the game
scribo Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 this may be a dumb question but are you allowed to bring an umbrella to the game Definitely NO umbrella. There are usually more than a thousand discarded at the gates. There will be a group or two going around to all the gates during the second quarter collecting those umbrellas, presumably to sell elsewhere.
