billsfan_34 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 The one he's talking about was to his left. Damn I have to start reading minds on this board lol. If your assumption is that EJ is done improving, well, you're making as ass of u and mption. And I seriously hope you're not a Cassel fan if you're ragging on EJ's passing abilities. Cassel is a career 59% and 6.6 YPA passer with 101 TDs and 89 turnovers.

Why do you assume I am a Cassel fanatic? You'd be wrong. Personally, I thought both would be gone before the season. I think both are poor QB's and both if playing means we are probably out of the playoffs. I am worried about TT, but he's shown some things the other two haven't and if he continues to grow and brings half of what Flacco had, then we are set.

And if you think EJ hasn't shown anything because it's pre-season there's no logical way you can say that TT has shown you some things...in pre-season.

I have said EJ looks better and improved, but still a D student. TT has shown me more. Who would we get? I don't know, I'm not a GM, but I suspect that we could find someone closer in style to TT as a backup. I think having two statues as his backup, and one who can't throw more than 20 yards down field, with the other who can only read one side of the field and only the first read isn't going to get you far.

You really should do yourself and your fingers a favor by not wasting keystrokes.
FireChan Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I hope the folks bending over backwards to get the last word in defending their "boy" realize they are now the equivalent of Tuel fans.

That sir is one piss poor analogy. Half of Flacco is 5 wins maybe. I hope the folks bending over backwards to get the last word in defending their "boy" realize they are now the equivalent of Tuel fans. And the Trolls still trashing EJ are better how? We've accepted the hierarchy. We support TT. How bout y'all move on too.

Bash Cassel, talk about a couple preseason throws, bash Cassel, talk about how the competition "wasn't fair," bash Cassel, compare Tyrod's preseason to EJ's, bash Cassel, ad infinitum. Real and comprehend dude. When have I said it was unfair? Find me one post where I claimed EJ was treated unfairly and continued on for multiple posts. Edited September 9, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever

Solomon Grundy Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 So you are saying that EJ is on his way to being the next Rodgers/ P Manning/ Brees/ Brady? You never know. Who thought Brees/Brady/Rodgers would be who they are? The throw to Gragg was to his right side Go look at the tape again.

Ej and Tuel are not alike. We know you love to troll. Cassel blows regardless of Manuelito's improvement or suckitude. Watch the film Edited September 9, 2015 by Ryan L Billz

He wasn't third string.

No ones bashing Cassel. We are defending EJ Manuel to those who say he's a BUST and can't improve.
Doc Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I still don't know how you barely play Cassel, cut him...and then re-sign him and make him the backup. All I have to say is that if TT sucks/goes down and Cassel comes in and plays as poorly as he has the past 4 years, the honeymoon will be over immediately.

FireChan Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 No ones bashing Cassel. We are defending EJ Manuel to those who say he's a BUST and can't improve. Is that a joke?
Maury Ballstein Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 No ones bashing Cassel. We are defending EJ Manuel to those who say he's a BUST and can't improve. I am. We've seen the ragarm shtick before. Has zero to do with Ej
GunnerBill Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I am. We've seen the ragarm shtick before. Has zero to do with Ej So am I actually and I was in favour of bringing him here not just this summer but the summer before as the kind of solid vet backup. However, I think we have two guys who have some tools he doesn't have that can win you games. With Cassel you are hoping he doesn't lose you games and your other playmakers win them. Fine if the other two guys have sucked but they haven't.
Dorkington Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Maybe Aaron Maybin is a more apt comparison. And you've jumped the shark.
