ALF Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 It's interesting that ESPN laid waste to them. I wonder what happened for them to turn on their bread and butter? I think Roger gave them the green light
Doc Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I think Roger gave them the green light Maybe. Hopefully he also gave the green light to the refs.

NoSaint Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I think Roger gave them the green light im baffled by how anyone would think that Roger Goodell is happy this story ran. He comes of as a manipulative liar that jeopardized the integrity of the game as much as the patriots did. did some owners give the nudge that it was ok to run? maybe.
dave mcbride Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 One of the things I question in that report is the stuff about Carolina. Never is it mentioned that Rodney Harrison broke his arm on one of the last plays of the first half, and that afterward the Panthers attacked his lesser replacement repeatedly. They had a number of huge plays because Harrison's replacement was out of position. Harrison had a terrific season that year; he was a first team all-pro and deserved it. That really should have been mentioned.
K-9 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Matt Miller is full of crap. Most teams actually don't resort to stealing play sheets from locker rooms. There is no end to the lengths the Pats**** and their minions will go to in order to justify their classless organization. GO BILLS!!!
BuffaninATL Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 it's gotten to the point for me that if the Bills were not in the NFL, I could care less about watching any other pro team. It's a watered-down, commercial-driven, money making enterprise that has become laughable.....how? as many others have pointed out, the actual game time versus commercial air time is insane; dubious officiating which seems to be in cahoots with the Vegas point spreads zero integrity and poor leadership by a commissioner who is so inept, the only reason he still has a job is that he has made the owners an assload of money asshat owners like Jerrah Jones, Snyder, Bob Kraft idiotic pregame shows which annually try to out-do each other with he most ridiculous props and ex-players/coaches who have no business being on TV the Cheatriots.....need I say more? While boarding a flight for Hartford today, I stood in line behind a d-bag wearing a Grogan jersey and I felt like punching the smirk off his ugly mug the time I waste on Sundays; at least college Saturdays are worthwhile http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/07/23/nfl-most-hated-dan-snyder-bill-belichick-percy-harvin

dave mcbride Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) HGH can do that for a guy: https://temple3.wordpress.com/2007/09/01/human-growth-hormone-and-steroids-rodney-harrison-and-the-selective-media-coverage/ HGH does it for a lot of guys - as in a large percentage of the league's players. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if over half of the Bills used it. It's really good for repairing minor muscle tears, which football players are subject to on a near-daily basis. There's a reason they don't test for it, you know. The league knows it would have to suspend something like half of players in the NFL. Edited September 10, 2015 by dave mcbride

He comes of as a manipulative liar that jeopardized the integrity of the game as much as the patriots did. did some owners give the nudge that it was ok to run? maybe. Agreed. The ESPN story makes the league and Goodell look as bad as the Pats** because he basically covered up for them. His handling of Spygate set the table for this mess and weakened the league's ability to control its franchises. He's got a point in that they still had to execute to get it done, but I am through cutting that organization any slack. They are a disgrace to sports and sportsmanship. GO BILLS!!! How much easier is it to execute when you know what's coming? Players who take PEDs still have to execute, so what's the difference?
dave mcbride Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Is HGH illegal but just not tested for? I think that's basically the case, but I'm not entirely sure. They really can't test for it; like I said, half the league would be suspended.

YoloinOhio Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 @MattSabuda: Chances of #Patriots fumble rate being as low as it's been for last 7yrs was approx 6000-1 per @SharpFootball http://t.co/qdwOIHulqR
Dan Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 He's got a point in that they still had to execute to get it done, but I am through cutting that organization any slack. They are a disgrace to sports and sportsmanship. GO BILLS!!! Exactly... They still have to execute. Plus, the opposing team still has players that are pretty good too. So, they don't win every game; they don't know every single opposing play; they don't have a guaranteed win. And that's precisely why you get the morons that claim it's not that big of a deal. Because it didn't help this time or that time. But what so many people tend to forget is ...cheating is cheating. They have taken extensive measures to gain an unfair advantage by bending and violating the rules. The fact that players are suspended for acts completely unrelated to the play on the field and Brady isn't suspended for cheating in the game itself is a slap in the face to every fan of the game, past and present. Belicheck should get a life time ban and the team barred from the playoffs for a decade. Instead they're celebrated as a champion... Its sickening.
