Freddie's Dead Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) #IDoNotWearRougeDougWhaley That red-faced, makeup-wearin', CFL punter. Needs a naming Stil'. "Welcome back" will always be Gabe Northern. Coming up empty on another Gabe nickname. Edited September 6, 2015 by Freddie's Dead
Last Guy on the Bench Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 So explain to me what players can get added to practice squad? As I understand it only players with I believe it less than 4 years are PS eligible. Players with more than 4 years exp who are released become UFA Therefore anyone with less than 4 years would go through waivers But if a player who went through waivers has to be added to active squad, then how would anyone ever end up on PS (as must have less than 4 years for PS)?? Either I'm missing something or the statement below can't be true as with what I wrote above there's no path to PS?? If you claim them off waivers (which go in reverse order of record from last year, I think), you have to add them to the active roster. If they clear waivers (meaning no team claims them), then they are free agents and can sign to any team's practice (or active) roster.

ALF Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Turns out Gabe is very smart , might give Wood competition for C. Cut from Titans because they were deep at C position. Andy spoke well of Buffalo to him.

Andy spoke well of Buffalo to him. He also had the best 3 cone and short shuttle in the combine in the year he came out......very athletic for a offensive linemen
Lurker Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 . Cut from Titans because they were deep at C position. How do youu figure? The Titan's backup C is 6th round pick from this year's draft who went to that football powerhouse, Boston College: http://www.titansonline.com/team/roster/Andy-Gallik/f50613b4-85ef-4a6b-b104-f3199fb4b00a

Lurker Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Brian Max Schwenke C was a 4th rd pick in 2013 Uh. I wouldn't count the starter as 'good depth'...
