Dragonborn10 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Anyone feel like going all in? Give up a first round pick? Move Graham back to corner.
YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I do not want Graham back at corner. Also, Whaley already said he's only paying one safety.
Mr. WEO Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I do not want Graham back at corner. Also, Whaley already said he's only paying one safety. Which one?
BADOLBILZ Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I do not want Graham back at corner. Also, Whaley already said he's only paying one safety. Yes, Aaron Williams would have to be part of any deal for Chancellor.
Dragonborn10 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Yes, Aaron Williams would have to be part of any deal for Chancellor. I wasn't thinking that way but very interesting. Player wise Chancellor and Graham is probably an upgrade over Graham/Williams. Doubt that works cap wise though. I think if they trade Williams his signing bonus is no longer prorated and it would be a big cap hit which makes signing Dareus harder.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Is Seattle really fielding offers for Chancellor, or is this just pure speculation?
Maury Ballstein Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Is Seattle really fielding offers for Chancellor, or is this just pure speculation? Saw a lot of links from friends who like NYG on their Facebook pages talking about NYG in "deep trade talks" Offer them Darby and a 4th. Kam runs the show on defense. Can blast gronks ass

CountryCletus Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I have a source with some big time info!!!! The source claims that they have no information on this subject....
The Jokeman Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Anyone feel like going all in? Give up a first round pick? Move Graham back to corner. Based on cap consideration, I'd rather sign Da'wan Landry for the vet minimum and put Graham back at CB. Yet the Bills didn't feel comfy keeping 5 safeties and why Meeks went to the PS.
BADOLBILZ Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Based on cap consideration, I'd rather sign Da'wan Landry for the vet minimum and put Graham back at CB. Yet the Bills didn't feel comfy keeping 5 safeties and why Meeks went to the PS. My understanding was that the offer to Landry stood until camp at least. After that Rex was really talking up his safeties in camp and it was pretty much forgotten. Not sure if Landry wants to play bad enough to take that vet min but he is a guy that they can call and plug in immediately if there is an in-season injury.....provided he has stayed in shape. And I think he is a workout fanatic so probably 2 weeks and he can be up to speed. Edited September 6, 2015 by #BADOL
aristocrat Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 chancellor wants the new contract and we have some guys that need big money. I wouldn't begin to try and figure out how we fit him in
ALF Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) Seahawks have $300 K in cap space left , they have a problem. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/ http://www.spotrac.com/research/nfl/extension-projection-kam-chancellor-537/ Edited September 7, 2015 by ALF

AWs bonus will be in our cap the next few years no matter what. at that point it's just playing with structures to make things work My understanding was that the offer to Landry stood until camp at least. mikemac2001 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) ^^^^pretty sure you got the wrong Landry He isn't suspended http://www.nfl.com/player/dawanlandry/2506937/profile Edited September 7, 2015 by mikemac2001

Original Byrd Man Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Pass on Chancellor! He just signed a new contract last year and now he wants another raise. Talented but troublesome.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Pass on Chancellor! He just signed a new contract last year and now he wants another raise. Talented but troublesome. Or smart. Show me the money.
3rdand12 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Or smart. Show me the money. But if they dont have the money as reported, isn't he looking to leave? not sure he is that smart. Not like he is underpaid honestly. some perspective ? who would pick that contract up ?
