Green Lightning Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Pats, Miami then the Jets. Each take him a week, waive him, so the division will learn Riman's offense.

cantankerous Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Nobody will claim him with his current salary over $4 million. Perhaps after week 1 so his monies wouldn't be guaranteed.
Green Lightning Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 That wouldn't matter unless Cassel could tell them that week's offensive gameplan. True that. I was just being specious, a talent I have...
mikemac2001 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 He can't be claimed due to his years right? He is a free agent can sign anywhere
Maury Ballstein Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Arena team. Maybe his arm will make it there.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 He can't be claimed due to his years right? He is a free agent can sign anywhere Yep. Just like Fred was able to choose his team. Likely after week 1 though.
BuffaloPride Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Arizona. They seem to be the landing ground for over rated USC quarterbacks.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I thought Houston was a good spot for him but John McClain, who is very dialed into the Texans and a good reporter, says they are not interested in signing him now. It may be that teams will wait until after the first game. He will find a job for sure though.
metzelaars_lives Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Arena team. Maybe his arm will make it there. Why are you so obsessed with sh***ing on Matt Cassel?
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Why are you so obsessed with sh***ing on Matt Cassel? Because he's a sh***y QB and didn't beat out two QBs with a total of 14 starts between them. Probably the same reason why you were so obsessed with sh***ing on EJ. Maury Ballstein Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Why are you so obsessed with sh***ing on Matt Cassel? Why do you care ? When a guy sucks I can say he sucks. He has a long long track record. You do it to guys who haven't played 16 games. For 8 months straight. Give me a month to be like you. Apologies for being right. Ignore me if you must. billieve420 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 He will end up in Houston with former coach O'brien most likely

You do it to guys who haven't played 16 games. For 8 months straight. Give me a month to be like you. Apologies for being right. Ignore me if you must. Because it's annoying. And no, that's not true. I never said EJ Manuel should be in the arena league. I don't constantly mock and berate him. I certainly don't root against him or relish in his failures. For the hundredth time, the most damning thing I've ever said about him is that I think it's unlikely he develops into a franchise QB. Do you think he will? As far as Cassel goes, for one, you're not right. He's not going to end up in the arena league. He's going to get signed by someone tomorrow. You better hope it works out for Taylor and if it doesn't, that Manuel looks like he did against the Pittsburgh Ghosts and not like he did the last time he played in the regular season. And God forbid, they both get hurt. But that's never happened since- oh wait, yeah, two years ago when Jeff Tuel had to play in a meaningful game for us. We'll see if you're right. I would've kept him around as insurance over a freaking fifth tight end when we don't even have good tight ends. You really get your rocks off piling on Cassel. Tell ya what, when Manuel throws his 96th TD as an NFL QB, I'll send you a cake with his likeness on it. You have my word. Edited September 6, 2015 by metzelaars_lives

Cassel would have been on IR after the first quarter in that Houston game.
