YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Another insightful read from Carucci. This one on Roman's unique offense. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/09/05/bills-offensive-chief-greg-roman-puts-opponents-through-a-stress-test/ During his four seasons at the helm of the 49ers offense, Roman established a reputation for creativity in the design of the running game. Through a wide variety of formations, shifts, motions, how linemen make their blocks and how backs make their reads, he does a good job of keeping the defense guessing. stevewin Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 One thing that seems obvious is OL men need to be athletic AND intelligent to be successful in this scheme, which is probably why they were so over the top high on Miller's intelligence, but also may be why they haven't been able to find a full suite of capable backups
