IK enemkpali to bills ps

Nice. Good guy for PS. Let him develop. If man above goes down he's not a total novice. Rapaport said he had a few different offers but wanted to be with Bills.

@RapSheet

Ik Enemkpali has signed with the #Bills practice squad, source said. Had other options, wanted to be there.

IK? Seriously? Don't get cutting Fluellen and then signing him back? Tanney our third QB? More headscratchers from OBD. Enlighten me, posters, WTH am I missing?

I'd rather have Caleb Sturgis.

Is Sturgis available? Ironic, Sturgis was drafted by Miami. Then they cut their probowl kicker Dan Carpenter. Carpenter will be fine. But, good to always to be looking to get better.

He's another bell-ringer on special teams too.

They are loaded like nobody's business on special teams.

Schmidtts/Gay excellent on the P/KO.......Easley and Graham on the outsides.....Carrington and Boobie D as kick blockers........and of course more dangerous kick/punt returners than anyone else.

Carpenter is the only question mark and he is a proven pro bowl player so I gotta give him the benefit that he will bounce back from a rough preseason.

Really thought IK was going to make the roster......and probably does if not for dumb penalties in that Detroit game. Probably the only guy that got himself cut for what he did in that game.

Guessing Groves will be on speed dial in case they lose IK early and then later need a versatile outside man who can also play teams.

yes, Fins cut him in their final cut. I really like Carpenter, but getting Sturgis or Hopkins opens up another roster spot because Our kickoff specialist becomes expendable. Maybe we can get Andre Davis back.

A few thoughts....

1. If Carpenter kicks like he did last year I don't care about the roster spot. Wasn't he over 90%? Like 10 for 11 over 50 yards? One over 60? And, how many in bad or very bad weather?

2. We cut Hopkins for Carpenter.

3. I think if Davis isn't signed to a 53 man roster we will sign him to the PS.

4. Do you really want a 8th WR in Davis (9th with Lewis on PS) instead of a guy who can do....refer to point #1.

Glad to see Reed signed. Thought he did well and will only get better

Agree with this. Talented player. One of those guys who looked like a potential early draft pick in waiting.......then had an injury plagued final college season.

Definitely had some great moments at UT. Injury really set him back.

Question: what former Bills practice squad member became a quality player for the team? Thinking Fred, Jabari and maybe Jason Peters? Anyone else in recent years?

Last I checked, his first name was Matt.

Na phil is coming back hahaha

Hopeful: while funny and coincidental it's still not a mistake. Phillip Sims is not Matt Simms father. This Sims is an UDFA who played at Alabama

I thought that was Blake Simms
