bookeredgerson Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Would you move Graham to CB against Luck and Brady in first two weeks, or go with Darby, Brooks, or Butler?
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 No. Darby is starting and they'll provide plenty of help for him.
LeGOATski Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Not me. I stick with Darby and give him plenty of safety help.
Juice_32 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Darby with help over the top will be just fine. I think he will actually make some plays. I really like the way Rex handled him leading up to the season.
LA Grant Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 They're going with Darby with Safety help although I admit if it were Graham at CB2 and Rambo at Safety, I'd feel more comfortable based on the production we've seen from all involved so far on field. But I'm not a coach! I dunno! Maybe it will work out just fine. We'll know soon enough.

reddogblitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) The OP's questions is would "I" move Graham back to CB for game 1 vs Suck for Luck? My answer is not yes, but HELL YEAH!!! Suck for Luck will have a field day with this kid, safety help or not. Darby wasn't burned once or twice, he was burned repeatedly. I would start Brooks over Darby as well. ABD - Anyone But Darby. I agree, "safety help over the top" isn't going to going to do it. Luck et al have been watching what we have seen. The Bills will be putting butter and jelly on Darby in the locker room by halftime.
FireChan Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Plus TY was the #1 last year and he saw some good corners and still dominated. Now he's gonna see a rookie, with Andre Johnson drawing coverage on the other side?
boyst Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 darby will be fine. not great, but fine. Andre Johnson is not that fast anymore but he's 4" taller then Darby. He has impressive range. That could be an issue but easily fixed by extra help from a safety. Montcrief gets #'s but he's nothing fancy. The Colts will pass for 250 yards, but so what? I don't think that'll have much to do with the outcome.
LeGOATski Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Plus TY was the #1 last year and he saw some good corners and still dominated. Now he's gonna see a rookie, with Andre Johnson drawing coverage on the other side? Yeah. I'd definitely use Darby's athleticism combined with Graham's awareness to cover Hilton. Otherwise, you'll have Graham getting burned and a more-likely misstep from Duke or Rambo. Gilmore's gonna have to be in mid-season form by game 1.

Silver lining is Gilmore will get to show if he can be Gilmore Island and be worth the big pay day he wants. darby will be fine. not great, but fine. papazoid Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 if darby plays cb , we lose both games. he ain't making it as a corner. he will be switched to safety next year. for this season, you play graham at cb. darby will be the worst db on the team. better hope he doesn't get on the field.
LeGOATski Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 he ain't making it as a corner. he will be switched to safety next year. wow. kid hasn't even played a game yet.
Uffalo Ills Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Darby or Brooks would be good. Honestlywe should avoid putting Duke Williams in at all costs.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @viccarucci Rex Ryan says he's confident struggling rookie CB Ronald Darby will "do a good job" starting vs Indy. http://bit.ly/1IPfo53
BetterNextYearRight? Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Corey Graham would not keep up with Dorsett or Hilton, part of the reason the safety move is good for him is it negates his lack of foot speed. Give Darby some safety help and he will have a good game.
seadog Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Darby, unless he gets beaten badly or cost us a game. Brooks would be my next choice. Grahm has lost some speed, dont know if he could cover all the routes. Safety is good spot him.
YoloinOhio Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Brooks has looked ok and has more experience. I am thinking use both he and Darby in different match ups.
Major Mud Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Silver lining is Gilmore will get to show if he can be Gilmore Island and be worth the big pay day he wants. 250? More like 350. I doubt he will get that much time to throw. Darby may be a question mark, but the D-line is not.
