VABills Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @MatthewFairburn The Bills have to cut four more players to get down to 53 by the deadline tomorrow. @mikerodak Worth repeating: the Bills still need to make 4 more roster moves before tomorrow. So too early to declare anyone as safe, incl. Cassel. Rodak is an idiot. He lists Carpenter as still a possibility and surviving , but doesn't list Gay. I suspect there might be some trade implications which is why the other 4 not named yet.
CSBill Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @ChrisBrownBills McKelvin to Res/NFI WR Thompson waived-inj 16 others released-notables G Richardson, Simms, Enemkpali. More at http://buffalobills.com #Bills no real surprises
Jamie Nails Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I'd be willing to bet they're trying to trade the bubble guys, if possible

GG Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Dez Lewis and O'Leary still on squad. Don't see them keeping five TEs
BillsFanForever19 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @SalSports: AJ Tarpley made the team based on last night's game, says Rex.
Doc Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Sucks about Deonte Thompson. When did he get injured?
LB3 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Tarpley has been impressive. He's probably made it a tough choice between himself and Steward.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @buffalobills Rex on McCoy being ready for the opener: "I'm hoping he'll be available to us. I remain optimistic. This football team will be ready." Sucks about Deonte Thompson. When did he get injured? In practice before the Steelers' game.
LB3 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @SalSports: AJ Tarpley made the team based on last night's game, says Rex. Not surprised. He really played well last night. I commented on it in the game thread.

BillsFanForever19 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Dez Lewis and O'Leary still on squad. Don't see them keeping five TEs Interesting that Josina Anderson reported earlier Dezmin Lewis was released but he's not on the list sent out by the team. As for O'Leary - I had high hopes for him but he doesn't even deserve Practice Squad consideration based off what I saw in Training Camp and the Pre-Season. I'm surprised he's still alive.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Where roster sits after Friday cuts Here’s a look at a position by position breakdown of Buffalo’s roster, which sits at 58 players after the latest round of player cuts. Leodis McKelvin was put on Reserve/NFI and Deonte Thompson was waived injured so they no longer count toward the roster total. Our position by position listing shows right now the Bills are a bit heavy at wide receiver and tight end and a bit light at cornerback, but with Corey Graham on the roster he could play corner if needed.

VanCity Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Who's left at Guard right now? Whaley must be slamming down f5 on the Waiver wire. Edited September 4, 2015 by VanCity
LeGOATski Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @buffalobills Rex on McCoy being ready for the opener: "I'm hoping he'll be available to us. I remain optimistic. This football team will be ready." Maybe I'm naive for not being too worried if McCoy is out. We want to pound Indy's defense into submission. Karlos all day with a sprinkle of Bryce. Go BILLS!!
