SectionC3 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 And here's a few fearless predictions. Fred was cut in part to make room for thigpen, who makes the team. And we'll keep five safeties for the time being given the possibility Graham has to return to corner in a pinch.
LB3 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 he's there, helmet on Vic Carucci @viccarucci 40m40 minutes ago For the record, EJ Manuel & Matt Cassel at #Bills practice along w starter Tyrod Taylor. Thanks Yes, he's there.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 @mikerodak Here are all 18 Bills roster moves today, including rules on waivers and McKelvin’s NFI status: http://es.pn/1OicwlU
Wayne Cubed Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Corbin Bryant is going to start in place of Dareus in Week 1. He's not going to get cut. My thoughts too. I actually think he will be Kyles replacement in 2 years. Although he will be 29 at that point.
thebandit27 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 My thoughts too. I actually think he will be Kyles replacement in 2 years. Although he will be 29 at that point. I agree on both accounts. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to see him get a 2-year deal this offseason, since he'll be an RFA.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Interesting that Josina Anderson reported earlier Dezmin Lewis was released but he's not on the list sent out by the team. He's also not on Chris Brown's list of where the roster stands right now and Carruci reported him as cut. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2015/09/04/where-roster-sits-after-friday-cuts/ The Bills also quietly IR'd Austin Willis - when did that happen? And what happened? Per Capaccio, O'Leary has helmet off, not practicing. Per Carruci, DE Red Bryant not at practice nor LB Reddick or Steward
Wayne Cubed Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I agree on both accounts. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to see him get a 2-year deal this offseason, since he'll be an RFA. Depending how Kyles year goes and how Corbins year goes there could be case made for Kyle to be cut next offseason, after June 1st. They can split his dead cap hit over 2 years making it $1.5m per year.
Nanker Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Dez's name is on the list. Must have been a typo. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Leodis-McKelvin-to-ReserveNFI-as-Bills-release-16/df61b241-ef1d-456a-a22a-cd06ea2c309f Surprised O'Leary isn't listed however... The entire FO and Coaching Staff are dying to get a spot for this kid somewhere on the roster... How many chances do you think they will ever get to play golf with The Golden Bear if he doesn't make the squad?

Per Carruci, DE Red Bryant not at practice nor LB Reddick or Steward The list was later updated to include Lewis among the players who were waived: @buffalobills McKelvin has been added to the Reserve/NFI list and 16 players have been cut from the Bills: http://bufbills.co/oBf0pI
LeGOATski Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Willis got jacked-up against the Steelers on a KR. He got IK'd

They can split his dead cap hit over 2 years making it $1.5m per year. I don't think they'd wait until after June 1st 2016...they get an immediate $5M in cap relief if they cut him prior to that date and after the start of the 2016 league year. No effect on 2017 cap in that case.

How many chances do you think they will ever get to play golf with The Golden Bear if he doesn't make the squad? More like T-Pegs, since he's a Florida resident and can hook up with Jack on his home courses...

No effect on 2017 cap in that case. I think the only difference is if it's post June 1st they'd get $6.5m in cap relief. At least that's what I thought I saw, I could be wrong.
The Wiz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 57 cut 56 cut 55 cut 54 cut. That's four cuts. But how many first round picks did we give up for Sammy?
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) But how many first round picks did we give up for Sammy? Too many, the Pats* gave up one for a Super Bowl... Edited September 4, 2015 by BuffaloHokie13
The Wiz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Too many, the Pats* gave up one for a Super Bowl... Didn't they actually give up two? Spygate and deflategate I thought they won both times.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Goowwin is hurt and Easley and Thigpen are not WR's - they are special team only guys. They only see WR plays when the Bills are ahead by 24 in the 4th qtr. So they really only have 4 WR's that will play. If Easley isn't a WR what was he doing in the Pittsburgh game?
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Didn't they actually give up two? Spygate and deflategate I thought they won both times. Apparently it's a deal that's always on the table
