NoSaint Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Considering doing house work during this game........ This game is one more example of why they could just do away with the preseason.....or at least cut it in half.... So glad this isn't a home game.... Why not simply treat is as practice/evaluation just like the rest? The month is for coaches and fans that like depth - not mass entertainment and that's ok
Fadingpain Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 How does Simms look? Listening on WGR 550 and it's tough to tell from Murphy's calls.
YoloinOhio Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 How does Simms look? Listening on WGR 550 and it's tough to tell from Murphy's calls. im listening too but based on Twitter it seems like the Backup OL is so tragic he's lucky to be upright
BuffaloBob Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 How does Simms look? Listening on WGR 550 and it's tough to tell from Murphy's calls. He's made some good plays, but nothing to write home about. He took a sack at the end of the half, just holding onto the ball too long and had to settle for a field goal.
YoloinOhio Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 Start saying novenas that none of our starting OL get hurt
plenzmd1 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I kinda like the Deteiot announcers. Was in a cab for the 1st qtr so did not have sound on, but lenjoyed them in the 2nd qtr
PolishDave Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Hoping Bryce Brown tears it up so the Bills can unload him on somebody.
PolishDave Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Fumbled two snaps that he lost, fumbled on a sack that he recovered. Delivered a couple nice passes while getting hit in the mouth. Did you see the one snap from Urbik? Ball never reached Simms. Maybe that is what happened to EJ in that one game too? I think Urbik has proven he is not qualified to be a backup center. Edited September 4, 2015 by PolishDave
Augie Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Well, with any luck Simms won't be hit again for another 12 months or so. Edited September 4, 2015 by Augie
EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 How does Simms look? Listening on WGR 550 and it's tough to tell from Murphy's calls. I'd say good enough to be #3 Strong arm, Accurate in short to medium length throws However, has taken some bad sacks and missed deep balls
Billsman623 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 The one snapped never got to Simms. He snapped it directly into his own groin.
YoloinOhio Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 Hoping Bryce Brown tears it up so the Bills can unload him on somebody.i don't think he's getting traded. I think he's making the team in place of Fred. He is the most similar in skill set to McCoy.
Augie Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 The one snapped never got to Simms. He snapped it directly into his own groin. I hope he's a quick learner.... don't do that agian!

I think Urbik has proven he is not qualified to be a backup center. thats probably why they signed the backup center from the Jets who was waived If urbik is cut... @mikerodak: Bills would save Urbik's $1.075 million base salary and a $150k roster bonus that he earns if on 53-man roster https://t.co/JqfrJW4CUc
Augie Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 thats probably why they signed the backup center from the Jets who was waived You have to wonder who will be in the next wave of cuts. Being a Jet seemed to get him a shot early.
Jerry Jabber Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Anyone know why Carpenter & Schmidt were having a heated conversation with the refs? Was another idiot fan shining a lazer pointer in Carpenter & Schmidt's eyes?
