plenzmd1 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) quick blurb by Ley made it sound like hudge vacated cause Brady did not know he could get suspended for this. Linking to PED looks to have something to do with it as well Edited September 3, 2015 by plenzmd1
YoloinOhio Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) @AlbertBreer: The NFL is likely to appeal Berman's decision to the second court quickly. Immediate question becomes whether they seek a stay. @AlbertBreer: And by second court ... I meant second circuit, of course. Edited September 3, 2015 by YoloinOhio
TheFunPolice Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I'm going to enjoy watching that team get steamrolled without any excuses
Lurker Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Looks like cheaters do prosper. Pathetic. Maybe. Maybe not. If he loses his national reputation and even his wife (their relationship is reportedly a little rocky) it's just a pyrrhic victory....
USMCBillsFan Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I'm happy it happened. Now we can beat that a$$ with him instead of beating an incomplete NE team.
YoloinOhio Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Silver lining - I was paranoid about losing to Garoppolo. Yeah I admit it.
Bob in Mich Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 The reasoning of the judge seems to be mostly technicalities. From the TV summary, he didn't say anything about the cheating
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 BOOOOO!!! on to the next court. OR Roger will find another reason to suspend him.
BuffaloWings Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Blame the NFL, Goodell screwed up and there's egg all over his face. Can the league appeal this and send it to a higher court? I honestly think this is BS, but I also don't want it dragged out any longer.
NoSaint Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 The reasoning of the judge seems to be mostly technicalities. From the TV summary, he didn't say anything about the cheating That's all that was being heard by him
Doc Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Maybe. Maybe not. If he loses his national reputation and even his wife (their relationship is reportedly a little rocky) it's just a pyrrhic victory.... True. Few think they're legit champs. And now I want Dareus'' suspension lifted.
plenzmd1 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Silver lining - I was paranoid about losing to Garoppolo. Yeah I admit it. so was i , my sky falling as well
TheFunPolice Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 So will New England* stop getting every single call every game to go their way now?
negativo Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 The right decision. Yet another crushing, humiliating defeat for Goodell. How much longer can this go on before the owners are ready to dump the guy?
sodbuster Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 So will New England* stop getting every single call every game to go their way now?Yeah, the officials can't be too happy about this.
Gordio Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I don't see how it could have gone any other way. There was no language in place to say he needed to be suspended and there was no precedent. The judges hands were tied. Sucks for us, there goes the division Why do you say that? I still think we have a chance.
HamSandwhich Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 @AlbertBreer: The NFL is likely to appeal Berman's decision to the second court quickly. Immediate question becomes whether they seek a stay. @AlbertBreer: And by second court ... I meant second circuit, of course. What would a "stay" mean? HE still has to serve the suspension?
