Meatplow
I don't see how it could have gone any other way. There was no language in place to say he needed to be suspended and there was no precedent. The judges hands were tied. Sucks for us, there goes the division Wow, we just can't catch a break. I think I would much rather win the division with Brady playing than to have to listed to all the Pats fans complain that it only happened because they were wrongfully accused of cheating.....again. MattM
Sorry if this might've been previously posted. http://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/blog/2015/the-new-england-patriots-mysteriously-became-fumble-proof-in-2007 It has, but this one and, in particular his two rebuttal pieces linked far down he did in response to critics, are even better. Those two rebuttals cover a lot of the initial critiques, such as use of ST plays and dome teams. His results? No matter how you slice it, the Pats* from 2007 on fumbled at a much lower rate than previously and much, much lower than other Northeast teams and statistically lower than even dome teams. http://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/blog/2015/the-wells-report-may-have-uncovered-the-tip-of-the-iceberg Edited September 7, 2015 by MattM
