Wife of GM made disparaging tweet about nbc reporter Diana Russini

The Redskins denied she wrote it and claimed it was fake account

Now she admits it ...

@ProFootballTalk: After team denied it, wife of Washington G.M. admits to making "disparaging remarks" about ESPN reporter on Twitter http://t.co/PuadOpYxOX

And apparently claiming the reporter is having an affair with her husband the GM

@bustedcoverage: Update: Redskins SVP Tony Wyllie responds to wild allegations that the GM's side piece is an ESPN reporter http://t.co/rdJg9pUJh1

Then someone created a fake account of Doug Whaley's wife, and the Bills had to deal with that...

@ByTimGraham: Doug Whaley, through Bills PR department, says this is from someone posing as his wife. So no McCloughan redux. https://t.co/m6XGXlNftT

@whaley_steph: @ByTimGraham so amazing and funny. and so wrong! I wanna be a source! my hubby went rogue! with rex by his side and terry on the phone

God bless you Yolo, for sifting through the sandbox of tweets all the time for us. I don't know how you do it!

lol I would not have seen it unless Tim Graham forwarded the fake Whaley Wife tweet to the Bills to see if it was real... Had to see what the heck he was doing

If he could forward the fake Whaley wife tweet to the Bills to see if it was real, why couldn't he forward his 'two sources" tweet to the Bills and report any comment?

Wonder if someone should tweet Graham if he is getting stories like Diana Russini and let that be cycled around a bit by other reporters.

I love the canned auto responses from both parties. Certainly no sincerity especially from the Redskins side. Personally I love this GM's wife. Probably spot on as well but the truth doesn't go over well these days. And no way ESPN has a "excellent reporter". Certainly not some sideline fluff they trot out there to meet a quota.
