Dragonborn10 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 1. OJ 2. Thurman 3. Gilchirst 4. Cribbs 5. Jackson 6. Lynch 7. Henry 8. McGahee/Spiller/Davis/Riddick 9. Harmon 10. The rest Thurman was my favorite player and is the only signed jersey I own. But OJ had once in a life time skills.
Best Player Available Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 man does Harmon really make any list?
Helpmenow Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 (edited) Jim braxton and Wray Carlton Edited September 2, 2015 by Helpmenow
Who is Yuri? Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I've got fuzzy fond memories of Rob Riddick jumping the line like a trout to score touchdowns. I'm glad he got a mention.
judman Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 (edited) I gotta put him third behind OJ and Thurman. Edited September 2, 2015 by judman
reddogblitz Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) I gotta put him third behind OJ and Thurman. I'd go with this too. However, the Bills seem to always have stud RBs. Travis Hernry and Willis and Antwain Smith were also really good, but not as loyal and didn't hang around as long. Edited September 3, 2015 by reddogblitz
Dragonborn10 Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 I was shocked how little rushing yards and attempts he had. But I remember him as being a threat out of the backfield. And I would prefer to forget the likes of Bell, Leaks, and Booker Moore.
Prickly Pete Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Terry Miller and Bell are higher on my list than Harmon or any of that group of with Spiller Edited September 3, 2015 by HoF Watkins
VABills Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 How is Davis not in the top 7. He was a better backup running back than Jackson.
Chilly Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I like those stats; I actually think they confirm OJ as #1, if you look at the amount of attempts, Y/A, and Y/G, he's on top. Thurman #2 and then Fred #3 for me on that list. Cookie's gotta be up there with those stats too.
billsfan_34 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Jackson over Cribbs! And Ronnie Harmon? The rest is pretty good.
Helpmenow Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Bobby Burnett was rookie of the year. Could have been
vincec Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I'd say your top 5 is clear-cut & right on. I agree. Jackson #5. Although you could argue that Kenny Davis was just as good but got fewer chances because of Thurman.
Helpmenow Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Wray Carlton for all you rookies out there was tough and good Stop looking at the current players. There were some real decent ones as well.
Kirby Jackson Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Good stuff Dragonborn!! I'd flip Cribbs and Freddy. The guys tied at 8 are really different. 2 were role players and 2 had great seasons but just 1 or 2. It is an interesting topic for sure and you did a nice job on that list.
Dragonborn10 Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Where is Shaud Williams?well played Good stuff Dragonborn!! I'd flip Cribbs and Freddy. I thought Riddick was a very good player. I remember him playing with a broken wrist. I think he helped Kelly in the early years.
