ricojes Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 So where is Fred today? Still in Seattle? I believe so. He had a workout yesterday and just finished his 40 yard dash a few minutes ago...
The Poojer Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 hahahahaha..... Â I believe so. He had a workout yesterday and just finished his 40 yard dash a few minutes ago...
eball Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I believe so. He had a workout yesterday and just finished his 40 yard dash a few minutes ago... Â Dude...I just burst out laughing and now have to figure out a way to explain it to my co-workers.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I believe so. He had a workout yesterday and just finished his 40 yard dash a few minutes ago... That was a literal laugh out loud and I don't do that all too often from a message board. Good one.
TPS Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Â Salary aside (we'll never know the real answer to that question), my assumption is they think there is real long term value in at least one of the two current vet backups such that they didn't want to lose them, as there is obviously a numbers game at the RB position. I still think Brown has a future. The Bills are trying to build a long-term winner, this isn't (hopefully) a one year window. Final cuts will be interesting. Â But yeah, I agree. There are going to be times I'm wishing it was Freddie lining up in the backfield. That is my take too, money was a minor consideration. Â I really wanted to see Freddie as a Bill in the playoffs, but this isn't a sentimental business. Brown is the most similar to McCoy, Boobie plays all facets of ST, and Karlos has great potential while adding to ST now. Keeping Freddie means losing one of the other players, and dressing him for games means not dressing a very good ST player.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 So the latest seattlepi sportswriter thing is that Cam Chancellor's holdout is making it hard for the Seasnakes to sign Jackson: Â http://blog.seattlepi.com/football/2015/09/02/report-kam-chancellor-holdout-holding-up-seahawks-deal-with-rb-fred-jackson/ Â Giving the same salt-shaker to them that I give to our media, can anyone explain this to me? I know Chancellor is holding out 'cuz he doesn't like the deal he signed, but I'm not up enough on the Seasnakes to understand their cap situation and so forth Â

Uffalo Ills Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Apparently the Kam Chancellor contract deal is holding up Seattle's deal with Freddy. certainly odd. C'mon Seattle, get your together and sign this guy before Whaley changes his mind (or worse, Bellicheat gets his hands on him). Edited September 3, 2015 by Uffalo Ills
DJasper Probincrux III Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Fred isn't signing anywhere until the Tuesday after Week 1.
YoloinOhio Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 @RapSheet: Former #Bills RB Fred Jackson has agreed on a one-year deal to join the #Seahawks, source said. He joins tag-teamer #Beastmode
EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Ughhh I was really hoping he'd go elsewhere
Thurmal34 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Good for Fred. So glad we won't see him this year. Happy for him, and he should be a nice fit there.
Kirby Jackson Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 This is the perfect place for him. A good team, a chance to win and not a Bills rival. I'm thrilled that is where Freddy ended up. This could have been so much more painful.
Best Player Available Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 he's on a good team. Too bad the first time he sees the playoffs, he won't be wearing the red, white and blue.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Bills beat the Seahawks in SB XL Super Bowl 40 was already played. Good for Fred. So glad we won't see him this year. Happy for him, and he should be a nice fit there. So no SB for the Bills? LOL.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Super Bowl 40 was already played. So no SB for the Bills? LOL. My bad SB L
