A 14-year-old Bears fan battling cancer patient is going the distance with his love for Chicago football. Or, more accurately, his disdain for the rival Packers. Miguel Reyes, from Elkhart, Ind., was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and, according to his teacher Peg Kelly (a Packers fan, who became friends with Miguel thanks to the NFL rivalry) has decided to name the tumor after his least-favorite quarterback. “I said, ‘You need to name that tumor so we can kill it,'” Kelly said via the Elkhart Truth. “You know what he named it? Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers. What a stinker!”
Deranged Rhino Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 That's outstanding. And I agree, if I were Rodgers I'd do the same thing.
The Poojer Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 yeah, but what if the worst possible outcome happens, i'm sure Aaron Rogers will absolutely love being associated with that...i get the sentiment that the kid is making it a more bearable(no pun intended) battle, but this could get ugly
Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Thats so awesome that the kid is in good spirits about this. Prayers to him that he beats this CBF
