YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 We have Kyle on defense. Who steps up to take Fred's role as the leader of this offense? The QB TBD? Sammy Watkins? McCoy?
thebandit27 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I would say you'll see guys like Sammy, Dareus, and McCoy step up.
Andrew Son Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Got to be Wood right now I guess... I could see it being Tyrod, seems to have that personality. I'd settle for McCoy to not be a D-bag
OCinBuffalo Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Got to be Wood right now I guess... I could see it being Tyrod, seems to have that personality. I'd settle for McCoy to not be a D-bag Wood.
YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 I would personally love to see Watkins embrace that role. I think he can do it, I think he has that mentality. I am not sure it's mccoys personality I would have said Woods but though I love him as a player he has a bit of an edge that might not lend to that role Wood.i guess...
thebandit27 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I know he's not a huge offensive cog, but Boobie Dixon too.
YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 I know he's not a huge offensive cog, but Boobie Dixon too.he certainly brings the fire... Fred was like the "ice" - always calm and cool.
YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 The ideal situation would be for one of the QBs to step up and lead
BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Bryce can do it! Obviously ...... post of the year
xsoldier54 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I would say you'll see guys like Sammy, Dareus, and McCoy step up. If you are looking for anything team oriented or inspiring to come from Shady McCoy, you will be sorely disappointed. Good player, not such a good person and certainly not a team leader.
DC Grid Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 PRAY the Bills aren't banking on Cassel to fill this void. If he starts the season is OVER.
PolishDave Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Wood, for sure. Except you should lead by example which he really doesn't do. I don't think there is a clear leader on offense with him gone. Sad. and Bad.
Kirby Jackson Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 The offense lacks some leadership for sure. The QBs all are pretty good guys and could fill that void. Wood will fill that role some and I could see Boobie as well. I don't see McCoy or Watkins as the vocal leader types. Someone else may emerge (maybe Woods) but he feels like a bit of a time bomb.
