Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 What took them so long is the real question. Seems like a really good guy. Good luck in your cubicle.
BuffaloBill Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I will never forget the KC game he started. The Tuel time pick six going 90+ yards the wrong way then Bryce Brown fumbling away a sure TD. One of the many defeats snatched from the jaws of victory over the past 14 years. Ugh.....

PromoTheRobot Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Two different KC games. Nightmares in back to back seasons.I blame Tuel for Brown's fumble a year later.
Nanker Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Absolutely. It's the quarterback's job to not have his balls tipped and not have his running backs fumble.

DC Tom Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I blame Tuel for Brown's fumble a year later. I blame Rob Johnson.
BobbyC81 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Jags cut the Tuel man Wow, they're taking a risk that another team claims him and they can't stash him on the practice squad.

Freddie's Dead Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) I will never forget the KC game he started. The Tuel time pick six going 90+ yards the wrong way then Bryce Brown fumbling away a sure TD. One of the many defeats snatched from the jaws of victory over the past 14 years. Ugh..... What really sealed Tuel's fate here wasn't the pick 6, it was TJ's fumble 6 on the next play. F'ing brutal. And yeah, the ghosts of 2013 were there to strip the ball from Bryce's hands and swat it away from Chandler when he tried to pick it up instead of falling on it. Saint Doug Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Wow, they're taking a risk that another team claims him and they can't stash him on the practice squad. No, this is one of those "cut early as a smokescreen in order to trick other teams out of signing him so can be safely stashed on PS" moves. We did it a couple years ago with that WR out of Tennessee.
BuffaloBill Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Two different KC games. Nightmares in back to back seasons. Holy $&-/! ... Obviously the nightmares blended in my memory.... Sadly, now I remember, that's two games snatched from the jaws of victory.
ganesh Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I blame Rob Johnson. Actually Rob Johnson beat the Chiefs in a thriller. Some even thought it might be a defining moment!
K D Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Tuel actually passed for 300 yards vs KC but unfortunately all anyone can remember is that terrible 100 yard pick 6. I think he could do well in the CFL and then maybe get another shot in the NFL down the road

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Take that pick six away and you still have a completion rate under 50% and 5.72 ypa
eball Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Tuel was bad in Buffalo. Period. Nice guy, bad QB. It would be nice if we never saw another Tuel thread on this forum again.
