/dev/null Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Full faith and credit What could possibly go wrong?
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) "Time" is a factor that banks and the state/gov't love to play in their favor and treat as a one way street. BUT, when it goes the other, they don't play by the same "rules." The consumer is SOL. Illinois should pay these people interest by the day on that amount! If your family budget was @ an "impasse", they sure the hell wouldn't care. Try overdrafting on a bank and see what happens when the fees start coming in. Come in late w/your tax payment, see what happens. Heck, even file for an extension and you still pay interest. It's a one-way street out there as a consumer. They can use your money free and clear over a certain time period. Yet, the consumer can't use/do the same over a certain time period. Pay them interest! The clock keeps on ticking... KD in CA Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 This possibility never occurred to me yet I am not the least bit surprised. I wonder if the mob did this back when they ran the numbers.
