Honest answer? No, we can't. But my speculative answer (because I had the same thought as you, I want to read into it) if Rex is worried about his confidence it (could) say he's thinking EJ might be his guy Week One.

Completely guessing and reading into things of course. It could just be, and likely is, that Rex didn't want EJ to go out on a sour note because the guy has been working his ass off and didn't deserve to have his night end that way.

agreed.

Both TT and EJ played lights out. If you want a scrambler go with TT. If you want a deeper threat then the advantage goes to EJ.

Not making any excuses, but I need to ask Was that "bad" pass by EJ who got ridiculed for by the game announcers tipped?

I think it was tipped, many here did not.

And so it starts WGR - "anyone would have looked good today against that defense."

EJ just completed "some open passes".

EJ is a Buffalo Bill in my book. He's overcoming the odds. Played extremely well and honestly deserves a shot at starting job with TT. I think EJ will win but who knows

Post Game host dude is saying Cassel is the guy ... because he played the least. :wallbash:

He played the least because his drives stalled...

Tell me you're joking.

If the defense is bad, then you should be able to take some shots like EJ did. Vessel can't complete anything over 20 yards. How could he possibly win this competition?

No. It was followed by "Cassel is the guy".

"Because he played the least -- like Big Ben." Literally, that was his logic.

Who said that? That is some stupid **** to say after that game.
