Canadian Bills Fan Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 @viccarucci Rex: "Nobody can say they weren't given a fair shot (for starting job for #Bills). Love competitiveness of EJ Was just going to post something saying that now no one can say that EJ never got a fair shot CBF
The Big Cat Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Except Woods and Watkins aren't expected to play.
Peter Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I wonder what the "tea leaves" are telling the guys at WGR and the Buffalo media now . . . .
Wayne Cubed Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) It'll be interesting to see how they break the game up. Does each QB get a quarter? or a couple series? Edited August 27, 2015 by Wayne Cubed
26CornerBlitz Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 Except Woods and Watkins aren't expected to play. No Woods, Watkins, Harvin, or Shady.....No problem. Will be nice to see what he can do with the 1st team OL in front of him.
BackInDaDay Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 good job by coaches to give him a shot with the first team, and good job on EJ's part to warrant the look.
negativo Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Trying to figure out what to make of this. Is EJ seriously still in the hunt to be the opening day starter? Is it really still a 3 QB race? Is it just a nice gesture to EJ for his hard work and solid drive against Cleveland? Maybe a smokescreen to throw off the Colts preparation? None of the above? All of the above? I'm admittedly perplexed.
BigBuff423 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Basically, that means all three QBs will have started 1 Pre-Season game....
billstein22 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Sounds like they're going to rotate all three QBs in with the 1s, but this is exciting for EJ. Hopefully he makes something of it.
YoloinOhio Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) Well it's certainly fair. Each will have started a game and Ej will get a chance to play behind the 1st team OL for once. Simms will probably play all of game 4, lol. Edited August 27, 2015 by YoloinOhio
dpberr Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 That's one snazzy windbreaker. Is the #ABC referring to "Always Be Closing"?
Prickly Pete Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 So will it be "one series then out"? I think it's cool that he is getting a shot. I will be looking at the how the rest of the offense plays for him. I think that might be the most revealing aspect of any of this.
Matt in KC Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I think I have broken the code, explained in detail below. QB starters Scrimmage - EJ Carolina - Cassel Browns - Tyrod Pittsburgh - EJ . . . . . Lions - Cassel - - - - - Indianapolis - Tyrod
