Malazan Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 That should help manning a bit. Curious about the money.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 That should help manning a bit. Curious about the money. @RapSheet Evan Mathis’ deal is worth $4mil with incentives. He turned a $5.5mil deal down from another team because he wanted to play for a contender
Wazzu Bill Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 @RapSheet Evan Mathis’ deal is worth $4mil with incentives. He turned a $5.5mil deal down from another team because he wanted to play for a contender I was just about to post this. That is a little depressing. I doubt it was us, but I know we have been in that boat before

VanCity Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Should look like a star in that system with that qbWhat system and is that qb really "that qb" anymore? I'm not 100% certain that Kubiak can really put his system in place when he has Manning as his qb. Manning really runs his own system and has done so since his 4th year in the league. The issue there is that his once live arm has now been residing in a morgue for the better part of the last two years. Peyton, with full respect to his place on the Mount Rushmore of QB's, is not currently a Top 5 qb in his physical state. Painful to say, but he is probably out of the top 10.

A run blocking scheme that caters to his strengths and a qb that's the quickest in the league to release the ball?

JohnnyK Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 He is dead to me and Ralph is cheap!!! Go Bills!!!
The Dean Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 He refused pretty good money and got about what I might expect the Bills to offer, if they were to make one (probably more than the Bills might offer). Mathis probably made a good choice for what is left of his career.

That team w/o a QB is not good at all.

Big C Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 What other teams did Mathis visit with? We have starters, and Urbik is actually a great depth guy, no need to pay for another starter. So I'm not worried about it and am happy he is not in the AFCE.
Jamie Nails Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 We have Jon "QB Killah" Millah. No need for this Mathis fella
FluffHead Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Broncos are gonna have a bad year. They're prime for a big time drop off.
Giaimo25 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 We have Jon "QB Killah" Millah. No need for this Mathis fella Great nick name for a defensive tackle, terrifying nick name for an offensive guard
