Gary M Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 In World War Z, didn't a submarine have problems with zombies clogging the water injection ports for the ballast tanks? Makes it tough when you can't get back to the surface.... I don't remember that in the movie, maybe in the book?(I didn't read it)
DC Tom Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I don't remember that in the movie, maybe in the book?(I didn't read it) It was in the book. I think FF got the details wrong, but there was a part in the book, the basic gist of which was "underwater zombies cause problems for sub resting on bottom."
Flutie Flakes Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 It was in the book. I think FF got the details wrong, but there was a part in the book, the basic gist of which was "underwater zombies cause problems for sub resting on bottom." It was in the book, but I cannot remember the details and let somebody borrow my copy. Knew they caused problems for the submarine in one of the water injection systems. Couldn't remember if it was ballast or the chill water to the power plant. Either way, their #$(#*@.
shrader Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 BUT did they have to portray trained military to look like incompetent !@#$s? They did try to drop in a line about how they weren't getting any sleep whatsoever. I have no idea how that meshes with the timeline.
PastaJoe Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The sub was trying to hide from a hunter sub, so it settled on the ocean floor. But then zombies swarmed the hull, and if they slipped into the reactor cooling system, it would be trouble. So they had to move and fight the hunter sub.
Gary M Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 uh oh!!! http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/10/18/one-killed-zombicon-shooting/74167508/ FTA "Jill Stancel, who works at a downtown barbershop, was selling water to Zombicon attendees when she heard the shots and saw people running"
