dwight in philly Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 thanks for posting! very interesting story, to say the least!
machine gun kelly Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Thanks for sharing. What a nice story about Kim, and God Bless the Pegulas! They single-handedly saved this city in terms of it's sports and identity. It's a close story to my heart given my boys are biological, but my daughter is adopted from China.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Thanks for the link... Good story... I assume that Sal M was given a go ahead for the longer form journalism after Tim Graham did a few for the news. It's a good trend to go back in time for this kind of reporting. I like it a lot.
GunnerBill Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Excellent article, well researched and nicely structured. Buffalo is very lucky to have the Pegula family.
The Dean Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Great story by Sal. Maybe he should stick to profiles. If this is any indication, he is more skilled in this form than at writing about sports. The Bills, and people in WNY, should be extremely happy to have this woman involved at/near the top. I know I'm very happy, as a Bills fan. And the format is pretty slick. Good web design.
jimmy10 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Very interesting story, but my god the newspaper business is in terrible shape. They obviously can't afford decent copy editors. Without even trying, I spotted two huge typos in my print edition.

Peter Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 (edited) A great life story. Compare Kim and her life story with Bucky's snark the next time he moans about her supposedly interfering (even though she is the owner of the freaking team). Edited August 23, 2015 by Peter
mead107 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Very good read. Like how her dad's name is Ralph.
Who is Yuri? Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 The adopted father, Ralph Kerr. He's an oil/gas shill, right? It's a match made in underground shale.
Who is Yuri? Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 He's not in oil and gas Is he in education?
Who is Yuri? Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 So, she was Pegula's secretary, or something?
mead107 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Did you read the story? Take 10 minutes and read it Call me and I will read it to you
ChevyVanMiller Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 A wonderful read, thanks for posting. The Pegulas really are a dream come true for WNY. Kim's vision for HarborCenter has transformed the waterfront and Buffalo is in better shape than it has been in nearly 70 years. Thank you God for sending Terry and Kim our way.
