PlayoffsPlease
Setting aside press conferences, and past history how do you think the coaches are doing getting the team ready for the season?

YoloinOhio
The QBs look better than I thought they would, and the D looks as advertised.
justnzane
The QBs look better than I thought they would, and the D looks as advertised. +1 In camp today, all 4 QB's looked a little more polished than 3 weeks ago, with Cassel making the biggest gains. chris heff
This is a world of difference. Remember the panic at the last two camps?
PlayoffsPlease
Just to play devils advocate and not withstanding the injuries on offense, 11 points against the Browns concerned me.
PromoTheRobot
Just to play devils advocate and not withstanding the injuries on offense, 11 points against the Browns concerned me. Because why? We didn't go all out to win a meaningless game?

A lot of playing QB and accuracy and efficiency is being comfortable and confident. That comes with experience in the league but also in the offensive system. By all accounts this is a very elaborate complicated system. Combine that with the exotic defense they play against in practice. Maybe these QBs are finally just all getting comfortable and confident in this new offense for the first time. It would make a lot of sense. PolishDave
Just to play devils advocate and not withstanding the injuries on offense, 11 points against the Browns concerned me. 11 points didn't phase me a bit because it wasn't our number 1's against their number 1's all day. It is preseason which means it is time to throw in the guys who are struggling to make the team. The score really doesn't matter one bit. I think the coaches look like they are doing well so far. Let's see how they gameplan for some of these upcoming teams. That will be the real test.
Kelly the Dog
One opinion on coaching -- Don't do what Joe Philbin did. The Dolphins had first and goal and ran a running play to the sideline. The ball carrier reached the ball out at the last moment which grazed the pylon. The Refs said he was out at the one. Philbin challenged the call and the replay showed the ball came out of the RB's hand before he got to the pylons so it was a touchback and they lose possession of the ball. Ha. That still is the dumbest rule in football. Anywhere else, if you fumble out of bounds, its your ball. The end zone, nope no TD, and the defense gets the ball. That said, it gave us this gem: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BBU43mACMAAzDN5.jpg:large http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2011/0121/dal_sbmoments_15.jpg

It's their endzone. So if the ball goes out of bounds in their territory it should be their ball. That's the way it always seemed to me anyway.
