boyst Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Hogan has fallen off the earth. Goodwin, likely due to EJ has had his stock increase. Hogan will end up on the Jets or maybe Panthers. Don't know what the love is with Buchanon, but I do generally pay less attention later in the game. I would love to drop him for a LB worth keeping. I would keep Carrington for that because he can move inside or outside as a 5-6 DT. The Quentin Groves signing was really quite impressive to bolster strength, though, making many become expendable. If not I'd keep Brown over Buchanon strictly only to trade or insurance for a week or two in the season. O'Leary to the practice squad doesn't scare me anymore. I say limit his reps, I say don't showcase him and maybe even ding him up and stash him on PS.

He is the 2nd best receiving TE on the roster and I have to wonder if it's worth looking at other roster cuts for an alternative, as the post suggests. Lots of edge rushers on that list. Did not notice Buchanon at all last night.

Did not notice Buchanon at all last night. Gragg is coming on and Gray has been a bigger disappointment than OLeary, although Gray has made some nice catches in practice. The movement at the goal line by Gray last night was brutal and inexcusable and something Rex Roman will hate and hold against him.

I am torn on Dixon or Bryce too Bryce would have had the best opportunity to play his way back onto the roster this week. I think it's a close call right now. Not necessarily him or Boobie, either. We have shown now that 5 RBs may not be enough depth, haha.
CardinalScotts Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 There is no way Cassel is the number one quarterback... zip.... theres a good chance they go with known play of Matt Cassel he's played in actual nfl games where your playing against the 1s and they are game planning against you. I'm also hoping for Tyrod but to say there is no chance in my opinion is inaccurate
GunnerBill Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I don't like it nor do I believe it is reality. I think the injury does make him at risk but I will not be happy if this team cuts him and I think he will show us elsewhere why.
