gsurdam Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 How can EJ be evaluated fairly when he is always playing with the second and third team offense ? He should be given a fair chance to win the job.
Beef Jerky Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) He has been... Don't know what you want to be fair. Edited August 21, 2015 by Beef Jerky
NickelCity Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 It's true there aren't enough reps, but the other guys are performing well and don't deserve to lose them. Taylor was very good tonight.
billsfan_34 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 He deserves nothing until he proves he can be more accurate on the move. He has had a crappy camp (keep in mind ive been a supporter) and just isnt good enough. Taylor is better end of story.
TSOL Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 The job is sitting there for the taking. If EJ wants the job, he needs to take it. Confidence and leadership, that's how he can take it, or he can just sit there like a lump on a log. I don't care anymore. We need a leader.
Buffalo Boy Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 TT looks good but am still not the least bit convinced he can make it through a 16 game season...though I HOPE he can. No denying the spark he brings to the offense. I am positive that Cassel could not have avoided the rush or rifled those passes into 17 (including the dropped TD) the way EJ did. I don't believe for a second we win this game if Cassel is in for the second half. I hope that EJ gets to start the fourth PS game.
jeffismagic Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I think the encouraging thing is that even EJ detractors can't say he is far away from TT or Cassel. EJ has not been good enough in practices but one more good game from EJ should earn him a job on the team.
Solomon Grundy Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Let Tyrod play with 1st qtr and EJ play 2nd qtr with 1s I think the encouraging thing is that even EJ detractors can't say he is far away from TT or Cassel. EJ has not been good enough in practices but one more good game from EJ should earn him a job on the team. He has been good in practice lately
DirtDart Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 He deserves nothing until he proves he can be more accurate on the move. He has had a crappy camp (keep in mind ive been a supporter) and just isnt good enough. Taylor is better end of story.Crappy camp?
PromoTheRobot Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 No need to play EJ with the ones. Tyrod is the starter, period. But EJ is showing me enough to keep him as the #2 or #3.
You herd it hear last Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I like EJ's chances against a team that has prepped for him more than TT for some reason. Do you think TT stands up to the rigors of adjusting DC's over the course of the season? Not to mention his style of play and physique contributing to a higher injury risk. All of those traits together has me cringing in fear.
