The Wiz Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Can you explain what you mean when you say there are "ridiculous assumptions being thrown around" and give some examples perhaps? Yes. you are probably right about that. I am not looking forward to that. I can already hear the idiots who sit around me at the stadium yelling to put other quarterbacks in. And they will be doing that regardless of which QB starts. I can only guess at this point but there are ridiculous assumptions both good and bad about all 3 QBs. Both here and in the media. It's not really hard to find the posts that are at the far end of the spectrum for any of the QBs.

The question was specifically directed at "the dog" because I was curious if he was suggesting I was making those ridiculous assumptions. Just wondering what he was talking about.

You have your moments but they are usually just opinion rather that assumptions about what the team, coaches, etc will do. Opinions are fine. If you got on a soap box and proclaimed that a person will never amount to anything and have no reasoning/fact behind it and refused to hear otherwise, would be another. PolishDave Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Well I guess these fans are going to get what they wished for. If he plays well as the starter, then Rex will have even more of a fanbase quarterback controversy on his hands. So be it.
BringBackOrton Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 It's a tad bit comical to look at some of these old threads, no?
BringBackOrton Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 (edited) 4 months ago some believed "EJ deserved time with the ones". I chuckled. That's all. Please remove bump. Edited December 21, 2015 by jmc12290
YoloinOhio Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 (edited) Oh - I feared someone wanted him to start the last 2 games to tank or something. But EJ vs Cassel at the Ralph would be great theater. That would bring in the crowd. Just like Brady vs Manning, but not. Edited December 21, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Maury Ballstein Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Bumping was not the intent. 4 months ago some believed "EJ deserved time with the ones". I chuckled. That's all. Please remove bump. You can't remove the bump. Tyrod sucked today and you busted out the dust off Ej thread. You're an official ej fanboy now. Too late.
BringBackOrton Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Should have never bumped. Won't bump again.

boyst Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 i started reading from day 1 page 1. didn't realize it was 4 months old until i got midway through page 2 and was entirely confused. this is the life i live.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 EJ's been over-evaluated. He shows no instincts on the field, can't pass, and has no feel for the game. You can't learn these things no matter how much you play and with whom.

NOVABillsFan Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 The season is over. Tyrod failed to get the team to the promised land. If you are going to shop people then now is the time to showcase any value they may have. What harm can it do? They lose, they get a better draft pick. They win EJ's value rises.

I don't think two meaningless games will impact any trade value he may have.

What management does in Feb on out is a whole new story. Meaningless games they are. I'm looking for entertainment and excitement and I just don't see that when TT is on the field. Who'd the 3rd string QB? Let him roll out some plays. Something, anything is better than what I have been shown. It's depressing. Edited December 21, 2015 by NOVABillsFan
