Imran Q Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Quick question for anyone here. I have a good friend's wedding on the evening of the NFL opener in Greensboro, NC. . The Bills Backers site lists Coopers Ale House as a Bills site. Is anyone here familiar with this place? Is there good audio there? I absolutely need to be able to listen to the games. My default is Sunday ticket on my laptop. Any info appreciated.

I can personally attest to this. I've never been to a Bills bar that compares to TotT. I spent many a Sunday there when I lived in Charlotte.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I live on the other end of the state, but wil lsay, that's a bit of a trek from Greensboro to Charlotte! We've got a better tailgate these days as well. Get there about 9 for some good food, beer and games!
The Adam Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) I lived in Greensboro for ten years. Its been a couple years since I've been to Coopers but from what I remember its not a bad place to watch. It isn't a very large place and its on a quieter side of town, so you should have no trouble. Imran Q Posted August 20, 2015 Author Posted August 20, 2015 Thanks. I really just needed dedicated audio. I'm the type that would rather hear the broadcast (regardless of who it is) rather than cheering or jeering. Wedding is at 6 so Charlotte wouldn't b easy. Plus I will have 10+ fans of random teams. Thanks for the input everyone.

I have never been up there to a game - didn't realize there was a Bills bar in Gboro or if I did I forgot it. Maybe I will go up there some time this preseason to give you a report. Eh, an hour and a half if you don't drive like a kitty. Hour and a half from Gboro to Charlotte... you haven't lived here recently. You can get Gboro to Salisbury in 40-45 minutes. The drive from Salisbury to Concord is a nightmare. They are finally widening the road to 3 lanes and just killing traffic with construction zones. It takes me an hour and 20 minutes to get downtown. It took me an hour and 35 minutes to get to North Lake.
