Kelly the Dog Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Otherwise looked great. Surely you jest. On that last drive I was talking about.
scribo Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 @MatthewFairburn Rex Ryan said he won't announce a decision on a starting QB until the Colts game for competitive reasons. That's going to be rough on us fans, but it makes sense competitively.
MDH Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 @MatthewFairburn Rex Ryan said he won't announce a decision on a starting QB until the Colts game for competitive reasons. My guess is EJ or Cassel starts next week then. No way Rex starts TT if he's trying to keep starter secret. Getting 2nd and 3rd starts in pre-season would pretty much say it all.
YoloinOhio Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 So when is the league deadline?im not sure there is one
26CornerBlitz Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 @AdamBenigni #Bills EJ Manuel: "I think I made plays when I had the opportunity."
Formerly Allan in MD Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 EJ started off tight and shaky but really settled in. He earned a closer look.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 im not sure there is one I believe there is, but I'm not sure how far in advance it has to be.
YattaOkasan Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I believe there is, but I'm not sure how far in advance it has to be. Why would there be a deadline to name your starters? That doesn't make sense to me.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 @buffalobills EJ on the ongoing QB competition: "Instead of worry about what's being said, I focus on what I can control."
Formerly Allan in MD Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I kind of agree and it is nice to see. To me it comes down to Roman's preferred style. My guess is it'll be Taylor but wouldn't be surprised by any of the three. Agreed
Fixxxer Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Duke Williams and Dez Lewis did not impress tonight. Hogan (up to his injury), Duke Williams, Fluellen, Kupper, Gray/O'Leary, Richardson, Lewis are my disapointment list. I like Goodwin but he always gets dinged.
gr8billsfan Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Even though Tyrod did good with consistent throws. I don't remember a big throw by him. Yes he can run, which will get you hurt in this league, and his accuracy is on point. I think the battle is between EJ and Tyrod. Cassel will be 2nd string and to help the starter from week 1 on
Big C Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Hogan (up to his injury), Duke Williams, Fluellen, Kupper, Gray/O'Leary, Richardson, Lewis are my disapointment list. I like Goodwin but he always gets dinged. Richadson looked great last week. Don't know what happened this week! Duke Williams looked worse than ever tonight.
NickelCity Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Even though Tyrod did good with consistent throws. I don't remember a big throw by him. Yes he can run, which will get you hurt in this league, and his accuracy is on point. I think the battle is between EJ and Tyrod. Cassel will be 2nd string and to help the starter from week 1 on I thought the sideline throws to Deonte, especially the second where he climbed a collapsing pocket and put it on point, were convincing.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 Richadson looked great last week. Don't know what happened this week! Duke Williams looked worse than ever tonight. Missed a big tackle to let a Browns' WR get a 1st down and was burned on Manziel's weak armed TD throw. Corey Graham is under no threat as the starting Safety with Aaron Williams.
A Dog Named Kelso Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 My guess is EJ or Cassel starts next week then. No way Rex starts TT if he's trying to keep starter secret. Getting 2nd and 3rd starts in pre-season would pretty much say it all. If I am really evaluating the 3 and since in the 3rd PS game starters normally play the first 3 quarters you give each QB one of those quarters and let Simms finish up. That way you would get a good comparision. All Three playing with and against the other team firsts.
Fixxxer Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Richadson looked great last week. Don't know what happened this week! Duke Williams looked worse than ever tonight. He's all kind of awful when he has to pull, probably not his fault he's not best suited for this kind of offense.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 @buffalobills Tyrod Taylor: "It wasn't perfect, but I was happy with the way I played."
LB3 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Missed a big tackle to let a Browns' WR get a 1st down and was burned on Manziel's weak armed TD throw. Corey Graham is under no threat as the starting Safety with Aaron Williams. Not only that, they look like the Legion of Doom out there.
