The Jokeman Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) Not sure if's truly Classic Rock but this song never gets old to me http://www.youtube.com/embed/cwqhdRs4jyA Edited August 19, 2015 by The Jokeman
truth on hold Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 although not quite as ignored as some other songs, a lot of the early, heavier stuff like this from VH gets buried in favor of their later synth-pop forays like "Jump", or even worse most anything with Hagar
Pete Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) pretty much the only song besides the Zappa tune that belongs in this thread IMO edit- + Dr John Edited August 19, 2015 by Pete

The Real Buffalo Joe Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Any Bob Seger other than Turn the Page, Against the Wind, or Old Time Rock and Roll.
Marv's Neighbor Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Money for nothin! Anything song that was banned in Canada deserves consideration.
/dev/null Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Any Bob Seger other than Turn the Page, I have a several year running argument with a coworker about Bob Seger vs Metallica versions. IMO the Metallica version is way better than the original meh version
Gugny Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I have a several year running argument with a coworker about Bob Seger vs Metallica versions. IMO the Metallica version is way better than the original meh version I side with your co-worker on this one.
truth on hold Posted August 20, 2015 Author Posted August 20, 2015 I side with your co-worker on this one. I'm a big metallica fan but still seger's is better. Metallica didn't really add much to that song. But overall the tunes they chose to cover for garage inc were a great mix
truth on hold Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 Just got turned onto this by someone else. Pretty solid. Why doesn't it get airplay? http://youtu.be/x8T_PQoTC30
The Big Cat Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/?v=yE79UxDu7Xc Was expecting this (don't know why). Was nicely surprised. Edited August 25, 2015 by The Big Cat
Howard Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I always liked this version better than the rolling Stones version in 1975. H
