John from Riverside Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Keep in mind RI didnt even play John Miller was such a good pick.......mobile....nasty.....strong.....you combine that with Greg Roman's influence on run block schemes and the both run blocking and pass protection looked fantastic with the first unit. It is interesting that everybody bags on our qbs.......but the OL played well.......and the qbs looked pretty decent hmmmmmmm
LeGOATski Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Yep. It was very encouraging. Miller looked like a veteran out there.
jeffismagic Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Real offensive line coach, real offensive coordinator. Switching to a scheme based on using their superior size. Another year for Cyril Richardson, he looked way better than last year where he couldn't stop pass-rush. Kromer, as long as he doesn't beat people up, is a keeper. Really excited for Miller. No one talked about this guy pre-draft but he looks like a player.
Deranged Rhino Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Even Fear the Losing has to admit our OL looked light years improved -- further proof that St. Doug was out of his element.
BillsfaninMyrtleBeach Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Watching Miller closely. That big man has some speed. He is the road grader we need to spring Shady to the outside. He played an excellent game looking like he's been playing NFL ball for years.

Poor Jags It's been reported Moron himself personally got involved and coached the OL unit every day in practice last year - it was his baby. So glad he "opted" out!
26CornerBlitz Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 What a welcome change from last season and it should be even better with RI in at LG.
3rdand12 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 What a welcome change from last season and it should be even better with RI in at LG. Yessir! Saw someone cut Miller knees and freeked out. I think we might something this year to get excited about. Looked like they were NFL caliber!!
Fixxxer Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I was disappointed with Richardson the few times I noticed him, he pulled on one play and should have destroyed the LB/S, instead he was stopped in his tracks and so was the run play. With hi size, he should have buried the LB. He needs to believe he will destroy the other guy. Miller was fast when he pulled and was key for a particular run play go for a couple extra yards. Very solid in pass pro, although the Panthers were missing Star Lotulelei.

3rdand12 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I have to say it was nearly a pleasure to watch them. Been a few years since i could say that about the O line. Go Bills Go Kromer!

It is interesting that everybody bags on our qbs.......but the OL played well.......and the qbs looked pretty decent hmmmmmmm John Miller is the TRUTH!! Doug Whaley and his scouts RULE!! I was disappointed with Richardson the few times I noticed him, he pulled on one play and should have destroyed the LB/S, instead he was stopped in his tracks and so was the run play. Nanker Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 There were a couple of runs off the right side last night that were cavernous. Even I could have gained yards on those, and I'm walking at the moment with the help of a cane.
Doc Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I have to say it was nearly a pleasure to watch them. Been a few years since i could say that about the O line. Go Bills Go Kromer! Kromer should sue.
Chandler#81 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Agree with everything -especially Cudos to Whaley & scouts. Miller will be All-Pro soon.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I have already bought my tickets to John Miller's HOF enshrinement.
3rdand12 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) I have already bought my tickets to John Miller's HOF enshrinement. you said tickets? I assume you are inviting me. Because its early to call. But i sure like this kid since the Bills grabbed him. i was worried not putting Miller betwixt Wood and Glenn for the Vet advantage ( communication and consistency ) But if Bills get RT sorted and the O line becomes a tight band of brothers... from nearly worst to ? .... most improved ? shoot i had too much koolaid last night and am still a bit giddy Kromer should sue. or make good on the threat Edited August 15, 2015 by 3rdand12
Dorkington Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 A decent run game, and solid pass blocking will make even the crappiest QBs more successful 👍
Buffaloed in Pa Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 It was. I loved our line play and our young rbs. Finally some really good run offense. Shady,Karlos and Bryce looked great. No need for anymore.
