TheFunPolice Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I want to see Spiller do well down there... He is a class act and a good (not great but good) player. The Saints are no threat to the Bills unless we play then in the SB, so hopefully Brees has a monster year and Spiller is a big part of it!
billsfan_34 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 "Learn the game my friend" when people say this they are always wrong. Kind of funny.Played it, studied it, coached it, watched it but ok I dont want to argue. Maybe not a bust, but also should not have been a #8 pick overall. Never lived up to it I agree he was probably drafted to high- but still a very good player and teammate
Bill from NYC Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Spiller is defintely not a bust. Some injuries yes. Bad systems yes. Bust no. Learn the game my friend I respectfully disagree. When you draft a player at #9 overall you expect production. This does not mean that I think that he completely sucks. It means the IMO, drafting Spiller at 9 was an idiotic, inexcusable move.

With that being said in the right offense spiller will put up some numbers. Lets revisit this in a few months sound good? Edited August 15, 2015 by billsfan_34
Nick the Greek Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Spiller definitely isnt a bust. He had some monster games in Buffalo when Chan was calling plays, He just needs to be in the right system.

BADOLBILZ Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 There are rumors here that Spiller had knee surgery with Dr. James Andrews. I don't know the details but Twitter is buzzing in NOLA. I wish Spiller well but it would be best for his legend in Buffalo if an injury derailed him before the Saints realize that he is what he is. If he goes down there and continues to make mental errors and get winded after every touch etc.. his 30 for 30 short "The greatest that never was...part 1.5" will never happen.
Doc Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Spiller didn't play the other night so the rumors are probably true.
BADOLBILZ Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Not sure why anyone would be amused by this Can't speak for others but I'm really just more glad that he is not part of the problem here any longer.
YoloinOhio Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 @AdamSchefter: Saints' CJ Spiller underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Friday in Pensacola, Fla, but is expected back for regular-season opener, per source.
uticaclub Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Biggest mistake in the last 10 years was drafting Spiller
NoSaint Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Biggest mistake in the last 10 years was drafting Spiller Imagine where we'd have been with bulaga!

I know your answer before you give it: the Jauron/Levy tandem.

I'm glad that management regime is gone !!!!

Nanker Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 https://twitter.com/thenatural14/status/632368538108321792 CJ is a great guy and I wish him nothing but the best. True. Me too. Muhahahahaha another bullet dodged. Spiller, what a bust. !@#$ you. That's an azz hole thing to say.
Nick the Greek Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) Maybe not all that bad.. He should be okay by week 1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/15/c-j-spiller-expected-to-play-week-one-after-knee-surgery/ Edited August 15, 2015 by ldandria
