So far, the 2015 Bills have brought us:

  1. A foul-mouthed, larger-than-life head coach with an affinity for the female foot.
  2. A RB who stiffed a minimum wage waitress so badly that even Charlie Sheen felt bad, implied in an interview that his former coach was a bigot, and openly advertised creepy "females only" parties.
  3. An OG whose bullying scandal became national headlines and promptly bashed his own Ferrari with a bat out of frustration.
  4. A WR voted "the most hated player" in the locker room.
  5. A position coach who was the Deep Throat in Cutlergate, punched a teenager over a dispute regarding a chair, and then allegedly threatened to whack his family over said chair.
  6. And now, a LB who sucker-punched his own quarterback, shattering his jaw, and causing him to miss six weeks.

Yeah, players shouldn't be breaking the jaws of their own quarterbacks. But it does appear he was provoked.

And, yeah, not manning up and explaining or apologizing for a ridiculous racially-charged accusation shows a serious lack of character. AND the party thing was creepy, especially when you can get all the "females" you want. But the dude is a top 3 RB. His Hulk Hogan diss was also epic.

SO...didn't we have another band of misfits in the 90s? As I didn't follow the Bills during the Super Bowl years as much as I do now, how does that team compare in terms of anti-social behavior? I'm betting it's similar -- especially considering it was during the infancy stage of the Internet and way before social media.

What about it? Were they similar?

We all know we're in for an entertaining year after two years of Marrone Ball. But I also think we're on the precipice of finally having a playoff team ... largely due to this cast of characters -- and the new owner, of course -- and the mean streak they bring.

Sit back and enjoy the ride.

I was all set in my head to rip this to shreds based on the title. But brother... this was awesome. Loved every moment. Every line. But a man that size who is that violent... over 600 dollars... i love the look. I was only 5-9 the first time around so i REALLY didnt know what i was watching. But this is not the good ol boys. And we will see who is really a fan of this team. People want to win people want to win. But these guys they added... ARE ALL top players at their position. Save for the Jet. If he is as good as advertised. He might be ok. They say he has lots of potential. Kromer, I just can't wait to see his line come to fruition. From Rex down, outside of qb what more could you ask for... only places where there is no competition is DL now that says something to me.Your top dogs are safe in many spots... but everything else is up for grabs. Fred is fighting Robert Woods is fighting... Cory Graham is fighting... LEODIS will have to fight Darby to get back out there... I love the culture being created out there...

"The Bad Boys in Blue."

I could see that being the title of an NFL Films documentary 20 years from now.

Sounds like we are emulating the Raiders of the 70's

A documentary about our 5 time superbowl championship run?

I have to agree with you on this summary. We have had "nice" and "squeaky clean" players for many, many years (David Nelson, George Wilson, Beebe, and the friggin guy that wrote childrens" books - Bentley). We have a regular group of bad asses and I'm pumped.

Hey, don't go knocking Don BeeBe. He was one tough WR, and he did a lot for us.

Well, we sucked in anonymity with Williams, Jauron, Gailey, and Marrone. With Rex we may still suck but at least Rex is making us relevant again if only for media attention.

Just because you are a character, doesn't mean you have character.

You have a corpse in a car, minus a head, in the garage. Take me to it.

I don't care how we win games. If it's not with choir boys, so be it.

From Rodak: "The Jets selected Enemkpali in the sixth round in the 2014 draft, and he spent his entire season on the 53-man roster. He played in six games, recorded no tackles but had two passes defensed in the Week 15 win over the Tennessee Titans."

Even if he was a choirboy, what about this resume makes people think he'd help this team?

He's supposed to be a very good special teamer and physically able to play LB in the NFL. Great signing in my opinion.
