Blokestradamus Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 id assume locker room gambling/betting.... which if it was..... depending on what was in place, could actually blow up into something bigger for the jets I hadn't even thought about it from that point of view.
GG Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 So the report is that Geno owed IK 1K? A game of Internet telephone? How much do you want to bet Boomer saw that Geno owed IK money and thought he owed him 1K? Thank goodness Iupati wasn't involved. Then the figure would be really big.

jimmy10 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 The only funny part about this story is that my friends who are Jests fans gave me a lot of sh#t when we got Rex. "Just wait until the circus comes to town!" they said. Seems Rex left the circus behind.
metzelaars_lives Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I find this story as amusing as anyone. But the bottom line is that the Bills and the Jets are very similar teams, even after this incident. They're both gonna have top 5 defenses, they both have playmakers on offense with their addition of Marshall and they're both gonna start the season with bottom 5 NFL QB's. Enjoy laughing at them for a day but it doesn't really change all that much in terms of where I'd project them to finish. I don't think anyone in our division finishes worse than 8-8.

Guffalo Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I heard that Geno threw he first punch, but it was intercepted and returned for a TD
87168 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) Geno has made just over $3m in cash thus far (Spotrac numbers). Why is he borrowing cash from a 6th rounder? perhaps it was over a bet. seems more likely than Geno having to borrow money. Edited August 11, 2015 by 87168
Lurker Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 No word yet as to whether the truck owed him money... http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/police-blotter/man-accused-of-punching-truck-at-krull-park-20150811
John from Riverside Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I would like to know if anyone stood up for Geno in the locker room I mean christ.....YOUR STARTING QB

JohnnyK Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Forget Frtiz...Petty wins the starting job now that he will get more reps in practice and preseason games it could be like when Bledso went down and that Tom Brady guy took over... I hope not go Bills!!! ps I wanted the Bills to draft Petty!!!!

Matt in KC Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 If Bryce Petty becomes a viable NFL QB, I'll eat my boxers. Enemkpali issued an apology: I notice he didn't apologize to Geno. . . .
Mickey Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) I have been laughing all day at this but the truth is, I'd much rather we played the Jets with Gino at QB than just about any other QB in the league. An injury to Gino is the best thing that could have happened to them. Edited August 11, 2015 by Mickey
Jon in Pasadena Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Crab QB, you say? Good lateral movement. Not sure if starting material, but probably will work in a pinch.
YoloinOhio Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Gross @diannaESPN: According to Elias, Ryan Fitzpatricks 89 career starts are the most by an active quarterback who has never started a postseason game #Jets
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 @AndrewSiciliano: Darrelle Revis: "I hold both of them responsible." Wow. What a ringing endorsement.
jimmy10 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I notice he didn't apologize to Geno. . . . With lawsuit likely coming, worst thing he can do is admit any guilt.
