Jon in Pasadena
It's like being able to do algebra but not add simple figures, which translates to you not really being a good mathematician. Well... not necessarily. I have a mathematician friend who can barely balance his checkbook, but has proven like 10 major conjectures and won the Veblen prize in Geometry. BuffaninATL
I went to Joe B's twitter account to see where he could be going wrong with such biased reporting...and it was littered with petty twitter fights. He's clearly argumentative/defensive and just all around unprofessional. He is focusing on agendas as opposed to actual reporting. speaking of roofing companies, this is why Joe B's ceiling will be very low....thank you, well played sir, well played... What's up with Marquese Gray? Is he there? Can you really stand by this statement? Did Orton throw while running even once last season? My impression of Orton last season was that he was utterly incapable of throwing without his feet planted. Edit: Love reading the analysis, btw. My favorite threads on this board during this time of year. Thanks! agreed, when he moved out of the pocket anywhere it was to either a) throw the ball away or b) slide into a coverage sack or 1 yard gain
BuffaninATL
Astro you are the man! so much great detail & context we will never get from a beat (off) reporter. I feel like I'm at the practice when I read your stuff. With EJ, the short pass inaccuracy thing is very very troubling. That kind of stuff is not teachable/fixable IMHO. Either you have it or you don't. Kind of reminds me of the Steve Sax Syndrome. I'm pulling for EJ but I'm curious to see if he even makes the team if he's not the starter. You don't hold a clipboard in this league in order to improve your accuracy and to avoid throwing 5 yes behind a guy.

BackInDaDay
first off, thanks for the reports - especially gems like this: I am seeing regular, daily examples of prescriptive teaching based on what the 11 on 11's and scrimmages are telling this coaching staff. Never saw this much of that in all my years at Fisher. the assembly of this quality staff is what comforts me when i grow concerned over our QB situation.. i'm confident they'll make the best lemonade they can.
