Robey's cap number next year will be $1.6M, which is considerably less than what 1st or 2nd round RFA tender would've cost Bills. Good deal.

2nd round tender wouldve been 2.3m-ish, so its not considerably less, but it is less. As a 2 year total its similar to playing out this year and a 1st round tender, but we get to control structure and avoid drama, its a nice gesture to him and show to teammates. Edited by NoSaint

Underrated player, he has been a valuable cog to the defense the past couple of seasons. He has been a very good nickle and dime back. Slotting him in as the 4th corner shows the depth of the position the team has.

Stop that...there is no call for praising anyone that worked with, for, or around Ralph.

to be fair, it wasnt anything crafty or special that overdorf did with the money. hes paying a little more this year instead of next. with carry over options its really 6 of 1 or a half dozen of the others. if anything, it seems a good on whaley for deciding to keep him happy as the finances are nothing noteworthy.

Great to hear! Add this to the list of homegrown players the Bills have re-signed.

If I calculate correctly, one Gilmore and Dareus get re-signed this year, that means we'll have every starter on Defense under contract for at least the next 3 years. Pretty good work, imo.

A young, aggressive backfield of Gilmore/Darby/Robey/A Williams/D Williams looks pretty nice.

Very happy with the deal. Seems to be a culture developing on that side of the ball where everyone wants in.

Robey/Hughes could've got more elsewhere, I'm sure. Mario seems to be open to a restructure. Hopefully Dareus has a similar inclination.
