All RBs, WRs & TEs....40th is actually pretty impressive

This is what years of bad teams does to us!

When you're #1 player is 40th in the league, that is not a good thing. Not a knock on Fred necessarily, but let's aim higher!

Fred is definitely not a Superstar in the NFL, but he is easily the #2 on this team.

Ive said it before, and ill say it again. 2 years ago the Bills won the game against Carolina because of Fred Jackson. He purposely dropped a short pass cuz he understood the game situation. If he catches the ball and goes for 2 yards, the Bills lose 20 seconds or must call a timeout. Not everyone gets it. He is not the flashiest, not the fastest, not the youngest, but he is there and knows his role.

He knows where the hole is, knows where the first down marker is, knows how to read defenses, knows how to block and is a natural leader. Why is Spiller not with the Bills? Cuz he didn't know any of this.

Godspeed Fredex!

this is well said. His value is not measured in stats.

40th in a 32-team league for the oldest RB in the NFL? Not bad. I've said it on more than one occasion. Fred will become a 3rd down specialist like Keith Byars or Kevin Faulk. They played an extra 5 years just on that, and Fred is at least as good as they were.

Yeah their gonna take Shady out on 3rd downs...for Fred. You are out of your mind.

How do you compare Fred with Byers, who was basically a bruising fullback?

And wasn't he retired multiple years at Fred's current age?

sure hope so Bud !

He will be back, If not Karlos,Bryce and Fred will do for a game or two. We might even find a gem in these new backs. Like they say backs are now a dime a dozen.

after the preseason game, i liked that kid Karlos .

Karlos and Bryce. Remember when Tiki Barber had that fumbling problem. They worked on it. How did he turn out. Bryce has power, speed and hits the holes good. Karlos is just plain nasty as a runner.I really think they should keep both for the future.

Bryce, Karlos, one Fb and Shady is enough. We really do have enough with these guys. We have team leaders ,and Kyle Williams is the most vocal. Fred has had his turn and made good money too for being a player nobody wanted.I really don`t see us going to the dance this year. Hope I`m wrong,so keep the young guns over Fred.Every bodies time comes and so has his. He will make a play or two,but in the long run the kids need their chance. Lets Go Buffaloooo.

Did Fred run over your dog before sleeping with your girl or was it the other way around?

This. And BTW, Fred led the team in first downs last year, and had over 1000 all-purpose yards. Yeah, completely washed up, ready for the retirement home. Enough with the "This is Fred's last year" already.

AND Fred is a GREAT blocker. Surely we haven't forgotten his pancake on Watt.

Well said...Also I'm not one of the people panicking and thinking we are building a team of criminals and hot heads but I do think guys like Fred and Kyle represent what Bills football is truly about.Having a guy like this on the roster not only is valuable from an X's and O's perspective but also as an example of what we are about as a franchise.I hope Rex sees the value in that because I'll tell you after that first pre season game I would have a hard time cutting any of our backs.

Tiki fixed it. Byrce seemingly hasn't. Hope he does, he always impresses when called upon (until he fumbles).

If our RBs were healthy, Bryce Brown would probably be cut after the Browns game. His days here are numbered. A fumbler with a heart problem who can't block or play special teams has no chance making this lineup. Dixon and Williams are competing for 3rd back.

Agree. I thought it would come down to Bryce and Boobie. Boobie is a ST standout, Bryce is not.
