EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 @mikerodak: Rex asked if he's seen Dez Lewis take advantage of opportunities with other WRs out. "Uhh, not really," Ryan says. Expects more in preseason Hey, 26CB. Another tid bit here. It's funny how sal said quite the opposite yesterday
26CornerBlitz Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 @mikerodak Bryce Brown walks out of the locker room with his left knee in a big wrap. Another Bills RB banged up? Hey, 26CB. Another tid bit here. It's funny how sal said quite the opposite yesterday Interesting how different eyes view the same things.
YoloinOhio Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 I think that makes sense, considering how even it seems. Cassel isn't pulling away. EJ have had consecutive good days, even against 1st team. Is Rex simply admitting that the competition is neck-and-neck?i think it's this: @mikerodak: Rex Ryan: "Indianapolis may not know who our quarterback is until we play them [Week 1]. We may know, but they may not."
Matt in KC Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Coaching and an entire offseason of an NFL training program can make all the difference for guys like Kouandjio, Richardson, and Henderson. Plus, I always liked John Miller as an immediate starter. He certainly seems strong enough and fast enough. I'm worried he has a tendency to lunge, and hasn't learned the technique subtleties he'll need to compete against the D-Line talent in the AFCE.
eball Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Fred's hammy is a concern. They should absolutely put him on the shelf until the regular season. He doesn't need reps -- he needs his legs.

I would want him in there to learn the nuances of pass protection in Roman's scheme. I know he's a vet and consummate pro, but it takes work to get that type of coordination down between teammates.
LeGOATski Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 i think it's this: @mikerodak: Rex Ryan: "Indianapolis may not know who our quarterback is until we play them [Week 1]. We may know, but they may not." ah...that makes sense, too

He does not need preseason or team work in practice

Johnny Hammersticks Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Is there any chance he could tell TBD? I don't think most of us can go another month with this competition? Rat-fink Rodak probably won't know until after we do.

I hate to say it, but are you sure he's still #2 on the depth chart if he's injured for a few weeks. He's missed substantial time each year since 2011, his YPC have dropped and he doesn't do special teams. Will it hurt that much to have him sit until he's fully healed?

Hopefully Karlos gets a legit shot at filling the bigger back, 3rd down roll
GG Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Easley seems to be having a great camp. He's safe though, and was always going to make this team (his contract extension assured that) -- but if he's able to contribute at WR, it means bad things for 7-11's chances of being on the final roster. i wouldn't put much stock into that. Did he lead all NFL WRs in preseason stats two years ago? All of our RBs are getting hurt! Isn't that our defense's forte?

johnwalter Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 If we stat winning, do we think Rodak will jump on the bandwagon or continue his player-hating ways?
eball Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Any updates on Felton or A. Williams? Rex said they're fine, I believe.
