We all know about Luck, but who else do the Colts have? And who wins the matchups? What's Luck record against top defenses? Do they have a running attack? How about their defense? Is it such a given they beat us?

Their OL and running game, pass rush, and run D are bad until proven otherwise. They have an elite CB, vontae Davis, and about 75 amazing WRs and TEs. Coaching staff is meh IMO. Passing O is very aggressive. Rookie S Clayton Geathers replaces Laron Landry; has been impressive thus far in camp. The game shall be won at the LOS.

Interesting match ups:

Mario Williams vs. 2nd yr OL Jack mewhort who will be starting his first game at RT

Sammy Watkins vs Vontae Davis - enough said

Darby vs any WR he will need to cover - baptism by fire. I expect him to be on TY Hilton and Gilmore on Andre Johnson.

Colts will try to take advantage of Robey in slot with different match ups.

Rex vs Luck. He will show no mercy in what he throws at him, he takes a "me vs the QB" mentality as we have seen with his manning and Brady games. I expect Luck to overcome some, but not all, of the issues he will face at the Ralph.

This is a team that the Bills should be able to run on and control the clock to keep Luck off the field. I think Brady only threw like 14 passes the entire game when they played them in the reg season last year, and that was in Indy.

I am terrified of their QB and weapons in the passing game and think Sammy could get covered pretty well, but feel good about a lot of other things.

Yolo, I share similar concerns. It will be a game of getting to Luck before TY, Andre or Fleener get open. However, I do think we match up play against their WRs, especially after seeing Darby today. As far as Sammy, he has proven he can beat the best. But even if he is taken out of the game, mixing up the ground game with Harvin and McCoy could counter that

Colts are soft. We will push them around. Luck will do what he can, but in the end we will get the better of them.

I wonder if Roman will have some ideas on how best to contain Gore?

i have had this thought as well - he knows his tendencies/strengths/weaknesses better than pretty much anyone. In addition, he coached Luck in college.

Also I didn't mention it specifically but Robert Mathis is not expected to be ready for week 1.

so, quite possibly, the sky isn't falling? I think that we give Andy fits and I could be wrong, but, I don't see Gore as a threat. Bills defense and ST dominate the day.

Bills 20

Colts 17
