I didn't watch the debates. Too busy finishing my binge of Deadwood you San Fransisco c*cksuckers.

From what I've read, Jeb Bush made a suggestion that I support. They really want to put a woman on the $10 bill. Margaret Thatcher is one of the better suggestions that I've heard

I only watched about the 1st half. Trump, although I love the idea of an outsider and did agree with some of the things he said, looked like a fool/bully for the most part. He kept cutting other people off and saying things like "not true" while they were talking. Then when Jeb! tried to interrupt him he didn't like it. Typical bully tactic.

I still can't believe Jeb! said "my brother kept us safe." Are you freakin' kidding me? Orwellian.

Christie truly is a blow hard.

Carly's line about the women of America clearly hearing what Trump said was priceless. Then he came back with "she's a beautiful woman" made him look like a fool.

Cruz is scary. He's itching to attack somebody. It's worked out so well for us in the past, full speed ahead. Going in on day 1 and not honoring a treaty signed by the US gives us ZERO credibility in the world.

Carly's take on the PP videos was striking. But I mean come on, she nearly flew HP into the ground.

The whole format was idiotic. Questions where so and so said such and such about you what do you say about that was just silly and insulting. CNN screwed the pooch in that regard.

I did like Trump's comment that Syria and ISIS want to fight each other. Let them, pick up the remnants. I guess Carly has a similar idea. She wants to arm everybody over there. As if there aren't enough weapons we gave them over there already.

here's my take, other than Trump or Paul I'd throw the rest of them out.

Rubio is totally FOS and just says stuff matter-of-factly that are completely false like gun control won't stop gun violence, or cutting carbon ommisions won't stop global warming.

Fiorina talks up stuff like rebuilding the military (as it if needs it since we still spend more than the rest of the world combined). And she offers no plan for how a country that's almost $20 trillion in debt can afford it.

Cruz is just scary ... paranoid, militant, creepy, uninformed, incompetent

Jeb, Hucklebee, and the rest are pretty much old white dudes trying to hang on to an audience they decreasingly connect with. You can tell their stale jokes about their wives may work at the country club, which isnt where most voters hang out.

Trump I like that he's a successful businessman and delegater. His style will be most close to Reagan's. He's a lot more fair, practical and informed than most up there, and certainly more than he credits for. But it's revealed in sublter ways many won't pick up on like saying he will make friends with Putin and work things out, while the rest are too busy totally demonizing him. He also said the Kurds are getting a raw deal, and they most certainly are .... gassed by Saddam when US was his buddy, attacked by ISIS, and then Turkey too after they had success repelling ISIS. How many others up there have enough humanity to even consider the plight of the Kurds?

Paul's overall philosiphy of non-intervention and individual freedom has the most appeal. And on the constitution he's the most informed. Just don't think there's much chance he makes it thru the primaries with all war mongering big money donors supporting that party.

gun control won't stop gun violence

In what world do you think gun control WILL stop gun violence?

Would that be in the cities that have the most aggressive gun control laws? Like Baltimore? Detroit? Chicago? San Francisco?

Tell us...how are their excessive gun control laws working out for them?

Oh, wait. You probably mean we need to ban all guns completely, amirite?

Oh come on man you know as well as I do if they restricted gun ownership criminals would have a harder time getting guns. As time went by eventually no one (including criminals) would have guns. It's just logical.

You would like to disarm every American?

If we EFFECTIVELY could somehow get rid of all guns it would solve a lot of our violence problems in this country, But no, I am not in favor or disarming Americans because we just can't. As Ross Perot said when running for Prez, it would require a house to house search. And they probably wouldn't find all the ones people buried in their back yard. As I said, the horse has left the barn. Gun control laws have done little to stem the tide and probably never will.

I also don't think every American packing heat is the answer either.

Sadly, I think we're pretty much stuck where we're at.

So what you're saying is that you're not in favor of it because it can't be done.

But if it COULD be done, you'd disarm all Americans.

Interesting.

Hey, that's progress. Most liberals nowadays don't even consider whether or not something is possible before they advocate it.

Maybe we could try to figure out and prevent why people are killing people with guns. Maybe.

Then he'll fly away on his magic carpet to that special land of gumdrops and lollipops.

Chances are greater the carpet would land on the island of misfit toys.

Amazing that people actually think this is a good idea. Even my most lefty friends don't think this is a good idea. Most of them are for stricter rules regarding purchasing a gun.

Those people might be in the knife business.

In one that has a problem with carbon omissions.

Because they have guns. If they didn't have guns, people wouldn't kill people with guns.

Or maybe you want to restate the question?

Maybe we could try to figure out the causes of people killing people, guns aside. And work to prevent it.
