NCDAWG
Oh yeah, back in the day. Bob Lamb 's wife made us Bills coasters and we had a nice underground market of bills games on VHS.
Pine Barrens Mafia
Oh yeah, back in the day. Bob Lamb 's wife made us Bills coasters and we had a nice underground market of bills games on VHS. VHS. When I was a young hothead of a Bills fan before decades of shame ground out my fire...I once smashed a VHS recording of the Bills/Titans wildcard game immediately after it ended. Still have them, just don't have a working VCR. I did show them to my daughter, only time she has seen the Bills in the playoffs since she was born.... The Real Buffalo Joe
VHS. I literally have never watched that play since that day. I was 9.
Just Jack
Oh yeah, back in the day. Bob Lamb 's wife made us Bills coasters and we had a nice underground market of bills games on VHS. I wonder if the coasters are the same style I've got that my Mom made me.
The Jokeman
Prodigy was founded on February 13, 1984, as Trintex, a joint venture between CBS, computer manufacturer IBM, and retailer Sears, Roebuck and Company. (...I still have a prodigy.net email account, even though it was absorbed by AT&T a long while back) Edited August 6, 2015 by The Jokeman
Fires
Wow.. I was on the old Bills board on Prodigy. Became friends with Bob Lamb. His father lived close to me in Florida. Haven't heard from him in a while. I may have his # and address somewhere. Still have some VHS games. LOL. I remember the pay by the hour internet when it came out on Prodigy..I think my first monthly bill was $80.

Just Jack
Like crocheting(sp) Needle point, that is then inserted into a clear plastic coaster. I'm not home till next weekend, otherwise I'd take a picture and post them.
CountryCletus
This is hilarious... I can't believe all the things Sears has been a part of... Their women's section caused me to spill seed as a youth, I have a Sears shotgun, and apparently had Sears internet...
Jon in Pasadena
That commercial. I'd forgotten about their Satanic pentagram logo. That was a nice touch.
The Jokeman
I'd forgotten about their Satanic pentagram logo. That was a nice touch. Also some subtle ad placement as one of the things you could buy were "Black and Decker tools" and we all know who owned them....
Mike in Horseheads
The pay by hour killed them, you lost a hour getting your modem to connect. Funny... I don't remember it working as fast as that on my modem! If it did I wouldn't be paying TWC now. Thanks that was great.
